The team needs to cling to this islanders match up. Would rather play them than Tampa Boston or Toronto. Need a W here.

I could see Columbus moving into that top spot in the Metro with the moves they've made.

Sucks to be Tampa if that turns out to be the case. ?

Good try Lehkonen. Keep it up.

I have a good feeling about this upcoming power play. It could be because it hasn't started yet though.

I watched them set up the same play on that powerplay twice and I still don't know what the end result is supposed to be. Looks like a lot of passing to easily set up a blocked shot.

Why not start working down low, try to create some chaos in front of the net, and maybe... just maybe... Weber might get open for a shot.

I say just feed it to Weber repeatedly and let the other team's forwards, defensemen and goaltenders suffer.... The consequences. Until they start moving out of the way.

He is definitely ill or injured. Doesn't even look like Weber

Petry has played more than him for three straight games.  I don't think that's a coincidence.

Lehkonen looks useless out there.  I was hoping he would have been moved today.

He had probably their best chance of the period shorthanded.  I thought he was alright.  I suspect he's valued a whole lot higher in the organization than you think; I don't think they have any interest at all in moving him anytime soon.

He seems like an anchor that drags down KK's production far too often...I'd like to see a better shooter on the kid's wing.  If he stays on line 4, that's better...but there again I'd like to see a more physical player on the 4th line.  I just don't see where he fits.

Aside from the whole not scoring a goal while getting scored on part of the period, that wasn't a bad road period from the Habs.  Unfortunately, everything just looks rushed - they looked that way against Toronto as well at the end of the game; instead of showing some poise, they're quickly getting rid of it and the timing is just off.

Paul Byron was once on waivers.

New Jersey blocks a lot of shots. It doesn't surprise me that Andy Greene leads the league in blocked shots.
