DON
Seems the top scoring forwards play a ton of icetime, 20:00 to 22:00/gm But top Hab forward last year 17:47. Kovalchuk is playing 19:30 and producing. Should Habs try and play top 2 lines more? Or have top forward or two play 20+minutes/gm?
Trizzak
The Byfuglien situation gets a bit weirder. He's leaving 14 million on the table with this termination.

From what I read he’s soured on the team through this process and will than be a UFA and will probably get close to his $7m next year and I’m pretty sure he is not leaving the full $7m on the table for this year either. Dalhabs
The risk is high we will miss the playoffs but there is one thing that would make that feel easier and that is if the leafs also fail. People in Sweden even thought they would win the cup this year.

Commandant
Pittsburgh got ripped... Addison and a 1st... .and Minny will probably flip Galchenyuk for more. If that is what zucker is worth... figure out the tatar deal
Chris
exactly, he won't have a higher return than now, I think a team would much rather have for a playoff run plus next year

But yeah I'd explore it.

DON
Not alot room left for losses, 16-4-3 likely needed to get in. Playing; Pit, Dal, Det, Wash & Ott before deadline. 2 of the 5 they "should" win (luckily 4 of 5 are road games).
