Apart from the Suzuki-Domi-Lehkonen line's performance, it feels like the rest of the team was looking for new ways to lose. Can't blame this on just PK or on D, either. Price had a great first period, after that not so much. Forwards made some major mistakes. Bad (and unlucky) penalties were taken.

Yeah, we're unhappy. But worse than that, the team has to be super demoralized after this. And that doesn't make the next game any easier.

The team stopped playing, Price did nothing to mitigate that...just a crap performance from top to bottom.

Agree. Only the domi line was goid tonight. Not sure if they made defensive gaffes but they looked good offensively. Reilly makes me nervous when he wanders too. Whole team was trash tonight. Worst game of the year.

That game was karmic revenge for the 5-goal comeback against the Rags in 2008. Even the final score was the same.

Maybe this will motivate MB to drop his Johnson and finally get serious about adding LD? The D was a disgrace tonight.

You would hope.  This team (as it is now) is NOT a playoff team IMO.  You look at the teams right on our heels...too many good ones to feel confident about even squeaking in.  The Leafs with Keefe will surge.  Philly is looking much better.  Tbay will come on.  The Pens are right on our heels and will get Crosby back down the road.  This hoarding of draft picks for 'down the road' and sitting on cap space, while whiing about how hard it is to make trades, is getting to be tiresome.  Make the team better!

Kinda sucks to have to point this out again because he’s playing so well offensively but once again Suzuki was the cause for 2 goals against.

The team has clearly made the decision to live with the mistakes and play the youngsters which is good but it’s costing the team games as well.

Hopefully they show up for Boston on Tuesday, for whatever reason they play good teams well and blow it up against the weaker teams.

I think Julien probably should have taken a timeout somewhere during the game. Probably at 4-3 Habs. At that point, it was still a score we would have taken prior to the game. I don’t know if it’s related but it seems teams are using timeouts less often than they used to, now that the challenge system exists.
