According to me, he should not get more than 4,75 M$ a year. And I think it a little bit generous. His real value is around 4 M$. How am I determining his salary? According to me, we shouldn't assess the worth of Théodore with the trophees he won previously. I has always got what he deserved (18 M for 3 years) for that. Now we have to assess his according to what he has done since the signature of this 18 M$ contract. Prior. After what, we have to consider him among theses goalies: Luongo, Turco, Nabokov and Kipprosov. He wasn't better than thoses goalies during the las two seasons. If you take the average salary of those guys, it's less than 4 M$. And this average salary is what Théo deserves. I don't add Khabibulin and Brodeur in my list because they are Stanley cup winners and Théo's showed us that he couldn't bring himself his team beyong the 2nd round. An when you take his stats and his record in playoffs, there is nothing impressive. Sorry for my english, I'm still learning it. I think he should be offered 3.5mil/year He has never returned to the form he showed before signing the big contract, and he isn't even amonst the top 5 goalies in the league, in my opinion.
