And (just wondering because it's sometimes hard to tell) are you (if you come from Quebec) francophone or anglophone? Me: Montreal Parents and Grandparents on both side: Portugal (from the same little island village whose name literally translates into "fishes' ass". Noble place really. Significant other: French canadian with Scottish grandparents on both sides. Hairy little one: Schnauzer, German in decent. Anglophone/Francophone: I can't decide. Went to French grade school and high school, went to english college, went to French University for undergrad, went to english University for post-grad. My friends are pretty evenly split and Portuguese is the worst of the 3 languages I know well. I'm Francoenglishlittleportuguese. I'm anglo. Lost way too much of my French, though at one point I was bilingual. Learning German now. My mothers side has been traced back to a leading General in William the Conqueror's army that defeated England in 1066.
