Habs Fan in Edmonton
A huge game. Need a bounce back. If you never lose 2 in a row you will have a good season.
Prime Minister Koivu
I’m surprised that Price isn’t playing. Even if it was Allen’s scheduled start it should have been Price. Give the guy a chance to redeem himself

Prime Minister Koivu
What has happened to Danault? He has the offensive vision of a fried pickle
Prime Minister Koivu
Ottawa isn’t trapping the same. We have much more room out there today. Sens are hard on forecheck but Habs are handling it well
Commandant
We had 38 shots on Thursday.... trapping through the neutral zone was not the issue.

Based on Ottawa having extended zone time and on breakouts, the puck wasn't getting through the neutral zone before ending up back in the habs zone. No real zone time before the goal for the habs either, one and done shots. The game that was happening before the goal.
Commandant
Disagree, thats not what i was watching. I just saw an even game with both teams not giving up any chances. Zone time that doesn't get close to the net is meh.... who cares.

Commandant
Just now, Prime Minister Koivu said: It certainly contributed to the quality of shots. We have much more flow this game. Good D-Zone play and keeping the Habs to the outside was where the Sens were effective IMO.

tomh009
Did Suzuki get thrown out of the PP faceoffs twice? Or did Julien send Drouin and Toffoli in to take those in the first place? (No chance to watch the first period..)
TurdBurglar
Good pressure the second half of that period. I gotta admit, Ottawa's defence is keeping pressure on the puck and it's effective.

Broke up Weber and Petry and it looks like KK is working the net.

brobin
I think the habs have single handedly given Murphy his confidence back... now a PP for Ottawa as the momentum is swinging back to the sens.
TurdBurglar
Saw that penalty coming a mile away. Habs getting hemmed in their zone and nothing happening once the puck got out of their zone. Great start to the period, but it all just stopped.
