Take lehkonen out and put caufeild In for game 3

No frigging way do I take Lehkonen out. He has been a defensive beast.

I said last game we should subtract Tatar for Caulfield, but it will probably be Armia who sits. KK scored but he also had an utterly garbage second period, so perhaps the 3rd will tell the tale

The contrast between Anderson’s Game One and Game Two is weird. He needs to do something. And - as I said before this game - Gally and Tatar need to start getting results. This missing the net with every shot is bull crap.

Game’s not over by any means. If we can come back, it will f**k the Leafs right up.

Anderson seems less physically involved and I do not think he has a shot.

Inthink he is injured , wrist or forearm

Lehkonen has been awesome defensively for 5 periods. Totally agree.

Some will have the pompoms out for #15 no matter what.

Its not about pompoms.

Its about the fact that there are more than two outcomes.  There are games that are played that are somewhere between complete Bum  and greatest player of all time.

But you have no nuance... there is no in between.

This reffing is ####ing horseshit.

spezza trips perry at the end of the first, no call

Spezza hits merrill from behind on the same shift, no call.

Toffoli Buttended, no call, Matthews scores right after.

Gallagher and Leafs player both got highsticked, only one was called.

Where was the slash for the 2nd penalty?

Danault held behind the net, no call.

Hyman hit from behind, no call

Interesting point

It is, but I was sorta thinking they should fight.

However, that would be a really bad idea if Anderson is in fact sore or injured.  That would be a shame because Anderson would beat the crap out of the Leafs tough guy.  Huge moral boost for the Habs and be a bigger loss for the Leafs moral.

I wonder if they are trying to make up for all the Leafs penalties last game (even though several of those were “puck over the glass:” penalties). I can just see this perverse logic seeming “fair” to the refs, who are not the sharpest tools in the shed.

I'm a little worried that Toronto has picked up Montreal's defensive tendencies in transition.  They're slowing down and waiting for the Habs to either collapse low or blow the coverage and double up on someone.  Both goals came from that and a few other opportunities that were missed.

I have to say, I'm surprised that Kotkaniemi was moved to the Tatar line so quickly.  How do you go from not being worthy of a lineup spot on Thursday to anchoring the top line the next one?

The only beating I want to see is continued dump chase hit. Chase hit. Hit chase. Dump hit. Hit hit. Hit hit hit. Only way the Habs beat the Leafs.
