hockeyrealist
Feeling good about this, the team knows what it takes to close out (as seen vs WPG) and also what it is like to be down, fighting for it’s life. So they know the importance of closing out. We will see another classic 2021 Habs game. Price is a vault, we dominate play but score is only 3-1 final with empty net goal by Toffoli. Gallagher scores at some point tonight as well as. Dman. Go Habs Go!!!

alfredoh2009
Looking forward to this feels like it will in a dramatic way; e.g. breakaway in overtime or short handed but a win is a win and Habs will prove that winning is the only thing Go Habs Go!!! The Chicoutimi Cucumber
I have a feeling this may resemble Game 7 against TO - a clinic in suffocation against a mentally-beaten team. But part of me is terrified. I have been hoping against hope for this day for so long, that I hardly know how to process what is happening. I'm a nervous wreck!

sbhatt
We are winning by 2 or 3 tonight. Caufield gets one for sure, quite possibly two.

Why fix what isn’t broken haha. It is the classic recipe for success, but also shows the big men show up in big games (Gally being the big man of course). dance with the one you brought.

This team is too good when they play this way.

I certainly agree, and I want to see Gally step up and be the leader too. Thats basically why I predicted that Gally would get the 1st goal in the last game. Surprisingly, it was KK that got it done, which is great if he can also step up and become a leader.
TurdBurglar
Habs have a chance to do something the leafs never could, win the Clarence S. Campbell trophy.
Sir_Boagalott
When Scory Perry and Goal Caufield skate up ice together everybody knows the puck will end up in the net, but it's anybody's guess who scores or how. Go Habs Go!!!

Helmethead
Nothing would be more fitting than to have The Chicoutimi Cucumber’s game time thread lead us to our first finals since I was a junior in high school ❤️

I thought they weren't awarding the conference trophies this year because of the bon-conference format.

brobin
This pp needs to pick up… an early goal would really help kill any early momentum by Vegas..

VGK is a veteran team with lots of playoff experience. They’ve come to play - not a lot of room out there. I agree that a goal by the Habs will go a long way to breaking their backs

It's a shame that the errant puck that bounced off Suzuki towards the net didn't go in. That would have been some awesome luck.

The crowd certainly seems to a lot louder so I'd be surprised if they havent allowed more fans to attend.
brobin
Vegas is pushing but the habs don’t look sharp… lots of bad passes and giveaways… they need to get their legs moving.
Sir_Boagalott
Hahaha, I was worried on that Vegas 2 on 1, but then I heard them say Janmark. Every time I've heard his name I've seen him botch the play. That guy has been cursed this series.
