Got feeling this one will be blacked out out west and not sure glorified practice worth listening to on TSN690..

And really only Ylonen i am curious to see how looks.

Drouin's a late scratch by the looks of it so Lehkonen is now in, he made it into the warmup just before it ended.

Apparently enough of a warmup, though. That was a beauty of a seeing-eye pass to Anderson! (Assuming it was intentional, of course ...)

This is the first pre-season game that bears some kind of resemblance to the regular season.

What the hell was up with the ref calling that a goal?  The ref was behind the net, theres no way he saw that puck cross the goal line to signal that it went in.

Hmm, they had an angle that puck crossed the goal line?

Savard having another horrible game

out of position, soft passes on the Dzone becoming scoring chances for OTT and multiple penalties

He is slow

wideman is having a quite game but is more reliable than Savard. Crisp passes and a good PP quater back

Ecans seems to have bruised ribs, cannot absord checks without folding in pain

Poehling looks like a 4th liner which would be his role if he stays, but honestly Belzile deserves the spot more than #25

Nice for the guys to get some "live action" 3-on-3 time.

D'oh, the Habs first 3 shooters haven't been good yet.  C'mon Armia!!  Yes!!

Mike Johnston just said that Armia looks like a 30 goal scorer.  I say that too and I get called "crazy".   🤪

He certainly seems to have the hands/skills of a 25-30 goal scorer ... he seems to be the classic "potential" player ... always looks like he could/should score more ... but now 28, he seems to have settled in as a 15-ish goal scorer ... but very good to have in shootouts.

if he stays healthy and plays on a line with other talented players, he can definitely get 25 and more goals.

Injuries and lack of quality linemates has been holding him back for a few years.

I think that if he played with Suzuki and Caufield or Dvorak and Anderson, he would score 30

Can get sure; but, odds are that he will get 14.76g if plays 82games.

in 2018-19 and 2019-20 he was on pace for 25 and 20 goals per 82 games. 2020-21 was worse, but arguably he suffered from his COVID infection.

he was stuck on the 4th line in WPG and he has played bottom 6 on a defensive role in MTL

But when injuries to other players have allowed him to play with talented linemates on an offensive role, he has produced.

Ha has hands, size, speed and good instincts. He may be due for a break out season playing with Gallagher and that newfound offensive threat of Evans

(ugh..  painted myself into a corner there, didn't I  )

In any case, Go Habs Go !!!

And may lady luck spare Armia from the bad spell the team is going through

That's the career average, yes. Most players are above average during their career peaks, and then start to drop below the average as they get older.

So you expect him to be on a 20-25g pace this year then?

Based on his track record with the Habs, a 20-25 goal pace seems like a reasonable expectation. Over 25 not likely though.
