Good start for Laval, up 1-0 after 20 minutes with Tory Dello getting his first career AHL goal.  Good timing for him as if/when Niku is sent down or Brook returns, it's Dello who will be losing his spot in the lineup.

Where is McNiven? In Laval for some reason? It looks like Guindon (20 games in the ECHL, none in the AHL) is the backup.

Taxi squad in Montreal.  With Montembeault just coming back (and undergoing further testing yesterday), they need him around as they wouldn't be able to get him up from Texas in time if Montembeault's a late scratch.

No Petrovic for Texas after getting suspended for getting an instigator with less than five minutes in last night's 6-1 loss.  Tonight's lines:

Bourque - Dea - Ylonen
Harvey-Pinard - Belzile - Teasdale
Martel - Beaudin - Roy
Baddock - Abbandonato - Smith-Pelly

Ouellet - Belpedio
Schueneman - Dello
Fairbrother - Paquette-Bisson

Guindon

The Rocket semi-solidly in the playoffs at the moment ... top 5 in each Division make the 2022 playoffs ... Laval is 4th in the North Division by winning percentage (.567) ... rather amazing considering how many players have been up in Montreal ... Speaks incredibly well of Jean-François Houle (HC), Martin Laperriere (AC), Kelly Buchberger (AC), Marco Marciano (Goaltending) and Daniel Harvey (Video) ... Primeau and Caufield would give them a boost if they (as many/most feel they should) get sent down ... I almost wonder if Poehling should join them to try and help the youngsters enjoy some playoff success, perhaps more towards the AHL playoff roster date.
