DON
Well, how will the boys react and does it matter, given how weak the roster is?

Given that the change was (at least IMO) primarily made because the team had quit on DD, I care far less about the result than how hard the team plays. Ideally, we look better, players produce a lot more, and young guys develop by taking bigger strides forward. Veterans like Petry play like they care and produces prior to the deadline, so someone is willing to pay for him. It would also be great to while see a kid like Suzuki starts looking more like he is earning next year’s salary this year. Would also be nice to see Caufield go on a tear (Ben though I think he belongs in Laval). It would also be nice to see more production from Romanov, and have Evans and Poehling show they are solid 3rd liners. we still suck on D, but at least look like a team that cares. Would be ideal, if we look better, but we lose 4-3 in hard fought games, and still finish behind Phoenix this year. it’s all about the future right now.

Well, we shall see if that quiting on DD is just BS, as i think and that this team/roster just sucks, period. Now, add a healthy Price betwen the pipes and DD would still be coach, no matter how bad "Coach Killer" Petry plays, which cant get much worse. I think put S. Bowman behind bench and would be no difference (except he would never ever consider coaching a team with no star players, to begin with). Commandant
This team may not have great talent... but this isnt a team that should be amongst the worst teams of all time either.

Yeah, I don't blame him for not being able to make the save on that shot, but that was an extra juicy rebound on the initial shot. I have to believe that Montembeault is still not 100%. Sir_Boagalott
Pitlick made 2 smart passes in the same play and both almost led to goals. I'd love to see Pitlick play with Caufield because Cole should be able to burry some of his passes into the net. I think that they could have great chemistry. It would make sense to stick Evans or Poehling with them.
Commandant
3rd goal against was another awful one on Primeau. Team fights back to make it 3-1 though.
tomh009
Pitlick is keeping up his astronomical shooting percentage. For now, at least.

Commandant
OMG, St. Louis put Caufield's RH shot on the Left side of the ice on the PP so he can take one timers. Why did our last coach not think of trying this?

Definitely not great defence ... but unlike MANY goals this season I would put these four on Cayden's shoulders and not the defence ... three whiffs and a rebound as juicy as fresh squeezed oranges. Commandant
It worked, Caufield attacking from LW on the PP worked. Who could have figured this out?

Ducharme's PP was somewhat more creative, including using Wideman and Niku.
