TurdBurglar
Unfortunately, rookie Juraj Slafkovsky didn't practice on Monday. He was slated to undergo medical tests related to the upper-body injury that forced him to miss the Dallas game. We could get an update on Slafkovsky's condition from head coach Martin St-Louis after the morning skate. - NHL.com
alfredoh2009
I hope they build momentum based on the loss to Dallas and that they tank for Bedard

Prime Minister Koivu
Some quality goaltending by Allen. I like the way this team plays. It really seems like everyone is on board. I am a fan of Xhekaj but I’m not sure he is ready. He struggles to read the play and react to it quickly, especially in the Dzone.
Sir_Boagalott
Good game so far, but the Wild are slightly out chancing them. I believe the Habs will win because they seem to have gone back to the strategy that they used in their victory against the Leafs.
TurdBurglar
Goal Caufield! Fleury looks unsure and leaky tonight.
TurdBurglar
That PP isn't going to work if the only release point is #22. Second unit looks better because they are willing to shoot instead of setup 1 guy.

Sir_Boagalott
The trip on WiFi should have been a penalty. 1 minute ago, Commandant said: You cant stop him, you can only hope to contain him, or get him coached by Dom Ducharme 🤣 I hope Pitlick scores tonight. Boldy is pretty good and he is why the Wild waived Pitlick.

Allen is solid

Kovacevic was a great pickup - he messed up on the 1 play but he's having a really good game other than that. He certainly looks to be a legit NHLer. I hope he'll get a point in this one. Prime Minister Koivu
Drouin’s best game of the season so far and Dvorak played well too. Harris is the most competent Dman on the Habs tonight I thought Kovacevic had a great game too.
Sir_Boagalott
Interesting pinch by WiFi and a great hard shot from an odd angle that was semi tricky for Fluery. I know almost no one will agree but I honestly think he should be getting closer to Guhles minutes. This is a year of learning and WiFi is less ready so he needs the experience more. WiFi and Kovacevic are basically free players and they're speeding up the rebuild process considerably.
DON
Hope Guhle's head inury is minor. 25:39 for Harris. 14/11/22 just 1 shot each, no good.

DON
I assume Edmundson will likely be back on Thursday. Wont hurt one bit, other than Arber should be headed to Laval sometime soon and let Schueneman/Leskinen do press-box duty. https://www.habsworld.net/2022/10/habs-lose-defensive-game-to-wild/ https://montrealhockeynow.com/2022/10/25/montreal-canadiens-looking-for-offensive-spark-after-3-1-loss-to-wild/

Nicolas Beaudin will practice with the team until Edmundson gets back ... he is not (per CapFriendly) waiver exempt ... but since he was in the AHL he must have cleared waivers and would, I believe, have 30 days before he would have to re-clear waivers to go to Laval.
