Lines are based on practice with a bit of guessing

Caufield - Suzuki - Dach

Hoffman - Dvorak - Gallagher

Drouin - Monahan - Armia

Slafkovsky - Evans - Pezzetta*

Guhle - Savard

Edmundson - Harris

Xhekaj - Kovacevic

Allen

* - While Dadonov was practicing yesterday, it doesn't look like the Habs back-dated his IR placement.  Unless they did, he's not eligible to be activated to play tonight.

We've seen how well it worked playing Galchenyuk and Drouin at centre just because the Habs needed/wanted a centre ... let Dach play with NS & CC ... perhaps down the road, not even necessarily this season, if Kirby's play continues to impress and he has built up his confidence enough then IMO the Habs can think about whether or not to give him another try at centre.

Two blown calls by the refs.  Larkin's penalty shot wasn't a penalty shot.  Nobody can tell me that little whack took away his scoring chance.  Also on the alley-oop to Dadanov, he was hooked trying to get the puck on the breakaway, should of been an interference call.

RDS explained that the foul need not prevent a scoring chance, restricting the shooter's ability to take whatever shot he wants is enough.

The rule book says a penalty shot is used to restore a scoring chance lost as a result of a foul committed by the other team.  Also, that little whack didn't restrict Larkin whatsoever.

Just sharing what RDS and their resident former ref explained ... guess the logic of their explanation is that if, for example, a player is prevented from going to their forehand, or backhand, then that opportunity was taken away.

That call on Guhle was ridiculous.

The call on Guhle was bad, yet they ignored Detroit having 6 guys on on the PP.  The phantom call on Savard.  It's being called one-sided and not great calls for the side they are calling for.  If there's ever a sample for a fixed game, this is it.

I don’t like Edmundson, Xhekaj at all

I really liked seeing Xhekaj deliver a solid check on 6'8 Soderblom. He has no fear.

Seven power plays for Detroit to one for the Habs. Uh huh.

I guess we should have signed an upgrade before the start of the season, as people were asking for ...

They'd probably be helping our tank at this point! Right now we have perhaps the best stretch of regular season Habs goaltending since Carey Price six years ago.
