huzer
Stunning that the Habs have only needed Primeau for 20 minutes this year. Imagine where this team would be with Primeau as the starter for ~20 games or so.

Prime Minister Koivu
Big Subban Energy in Montreal today. Another omen that the Habs are going to win big tonight.
Prime Minister Koivu
Rangers are giving us a lot of ice and too many rush chances. We going to win this one 🤨
dlbalr
So, who had Belzile getting a three-game goal streak? Nice shot too.
dlbalr
Tough night for the penalty kill so far (though the shorty helps) as the Rangers have that part figured out. Their five-on-five play though? Yikes.
Prime Minister Koivu
Entertaining game and at least it’s only one point again
dlbalr
Mike Matheson played 31:57 tonight. On the other side, Chris Wideman was at 8:00. Two shifts for him in the first half of the third so I think he just got benched.

On the plus side, his value around the league if we were to ever entertain trading him must be through the roof.
Commandant
Given his age and contract, Id want a huge return to trade Matheson. After a slow start, hes been excellent.
Prime Minister Koivu
Yeah Matheson genuinely stunk at first - new team, injuries but he has been outstanding for a while. Matheson is better than Petry so that trade works well
DON
Entertaining game and great to see Guhle back and getting on scoresheet. Matheson will never be a defensive specialist; but love his skating and puck skills (on a 50 point pace). Ylonen has speed to burn, just finnish still lacking. Hope Suzuki is still kicking himself over just letting Trouba walk out uncontested for an gift goal and is a learning for the young Captain, who still had an OK game in 25:29 of icetime..
