Prime Minister Koivu
I’m all for the Slafkovsky picks 👍 I’m stoked that the Habs have a line that compares well to their peers. We are on our way to two lines soon. We actually have a decent PP too 🥳
Neech
Another bomb from Arber. This kid is special and when we get back to the playoffs he'll be a difference maker.
Prime Minister Koivu
I liked that quick tic-tac-toe play they were trying on the PP. Suzuki to Slafkovsky to Caufield for the tap or redirect.

The Chicoutimi Cucumber
Interesting how much chippier and more intense this game is than the lacklustre Washington contest. WiFi is wreaking havoc - classic game by him.
The Chicoutimi Cucumber
CC looked completely confused on that PP. Yeeeeesh

Sir_Boagalott
I was loving watching WiFi pushing that 1 guy all around. There was nothing the other guy could do about it. Later on that was a great hit by Wifi. I want to see him do that more often. He hits but he could be a lot more physical. i.e. think Trouba. WiFi is bigger and stronger and could be laying people right out. I liked seeing Slaf in that 1 scrum too.
Prime Minister Koivu
Hard fought period and I’ll echo what others are saying about Xhekaj. He is having himself a game and thrashing everyone in his way. That’s fun to watch
The Chicoutimi Cucumber
Suzuki, meanwhile, has gone from being a good player to a frigging amazing player. Just fantastic plays from him. That defensive play on the breakaway was just masterful. *chef's kiss*
GHT120
BTW - did I notice that it is Sabres "dad trip" ... wonder why so many mom/dad trips include Montreal?
JoeLassister
Best game of Xhekaj’s career so far. And not just cuz of the physical game.

The Chicoutimi Cucumber
Just a lunatic penalty by Buffalo. Hopefully the Habs can cash in. Buffalo has been the better team this period IMHO

Prime Minister Koivu
Slafkovsky had a bit of a tough game. Not bothered by losing at this point. I wouldn’t mind the 5th pick or better if we get lucky

Hey, I recognize that we have nothing to play for (apart from seeing young guys improve), and I recognize that the higher pick is the better pick. But I still don’t cheer for them to lose, when I’m watching games. “Frustration” is a bit of a strong word for it…but I feel a lot less motivated to watch under these conditions for sure. At least this game was pretty entertaining. 18 minutes ago, Prime Minister Koivu said: Slafkovsky had a bit of a tough game. Not bothered by losing at this point.
