Down 3-1  end of 1st period

Primeau 3g on 14 shots

What do you think so far?

William Trudeau confirmed live on RDS that they were in the pre-game team meeting and “between two videos got a call to tell them of the call ups”

They were all surprised , he said “tu dois t’attendre à toute” loosely translated to “you have to expect anything “

Doesn’t seem like a lot of coordination took place !

I do not think they are prioritizing Laval.
the call ups were announced in the room 90 minutes before the game. Laval had already returned Beaucage.

Shows a lack of planning and coordination with Laval. No way the players can appreciate this.

It's the AHL all-star break so Beck and Mailloux will not miss any AHL games. I think that's coordination.

I got to go, will watch the rest of the game tonight.

I hope they play better the rest of the game. The Rocket is better than what they showed I. The 1st

They had to go to california for the all star game in any event.  They were never playing today.

Doesnt stop the biased shot at HuGo though.

I am glad to see Mesar playing better. He seems to have found his playing form and is adjusting well to the AHL

Not impressing yet but not hurting the club anymore

Alfredoh, what are your thoughts on the lack of production from Mesar? Too much perimeter play? Not high enough hockey IQ? Thanks.

I have not watch many games in full (AGL tv is too expensive).

From what I’ve seen, in the first few games coming back from injury he was not in shape. He was missing lots of pass receptions even if Beck was making passes tape to tape. He brought down that line.

Later, you could see his smarts keeping plays alive and his shot releases.
this game, the 4th goal is his fault. I think the Rocket won the faceoff and it was a two on two. Oars battle. The Hartford player won his game and came to the front of the goal in front of Mesar, who made à have ass effort to check him.

It was an easy goal

4-1 now

Mesar

is better than Farrel and Kidney, as of now. I think he will be as good or better than Roy by the end of the AHL season; but I am not sure how ready he may be for a call up

I am still watching g the game, midway through it didn’t look like they would win.

17-9 shots against

RHP crashing the net, creates a scoring chance

with 9 minutes to go Davidson scores . What a nice shot by such a “hood story” type of players

4-2

That goal really changes the nomentum

Farrel scores about 3 min later.

Thanks Alfredoh. Sean Farrell seems to have woken up a little bit in the last few weeks... do you think there's any hope for him?

With one minute to go I the seco d. Tuch has a nice deviation that is  stopped.

he has continued developing but I have not noticed him in the games I’ve watched

I do not know about Farrel. I doubt he is resigned after this year. I think his contract is up

Is it too early to consider Mesar a miss as a first rounder yet? Feels like he is unlikely to make the big club in the next 12/18 months

Posted

He finished the seco f period with another point on a great pass to Varré-Boulet through traffic

He May be a victim of being too far behind other players that would play on the 3rd line ahead of him

I would.not calm him a miss yet

he has. It played enough games, and his shot is just too good

First 28 minutes, the Rocket had six shots on goal.

The last 32, they had 28 shots.

Still, they pulled out a win. Best winning percentage in the AHL now, and that's in spite of having a lot of Habs prospects on the roster--and missing Reinbacher altogether.

Thanks Alfredoh. Young Florian Xhekaj seems to have a nose for the net eh?
