alfredoh2009
Finally watching the third period. it is impressive how well they are playing despite not having Dauphin come back in the 3rd after getting a high stick on the face. Farrel playing a strong game

alfredoh2009
Arseneau badly hurt, hit his head on the ice when wrestling with Clifton Clifford Vincent Arseneau vient de jeter les gants devant Kyle Clifford. On n’a rien vu du combat à savoir s’il a reçu un coup de poing ou s’il s’est frappé la tête sur la glace. Quoi qu’il en soit, le Madelinot semblait assez ébranlé en quittant vers le vestiaire. — Anthony Marcotte (@anthonymarcotte) February 8, 2025

Farrel is well sheltered by Dauphin. The D have been a wall in front of the Marlies, Toronto does not have their All-Stars back: they look tired?! alfredoh2009
Arsenau is back for the 2nd. He makes a nice pass to Farrell who one times a goal with 16 min to go 3-1 good guys
alfredoh2009
16-5 shots for Laval with 13:27 in the 2nd. What a bland game!
alfredoh2009
Toronto scores, the coverage on the offensive zone was not great, high on their zone. A quic pass forward to Tvrborg(?) brought him almost alone from the right boards entering the zone. Hoefenmayer slid to cut the pass but too early, it was an easy play to come to the front of the net and score 3-
alfredoh2009
Farrel alone on the goalie, nice pass by Florian: natural hat trick 4-2 Laval (18-8 shots)
alfredoh2009
Clifford came to bump Florian after an off side, and they drew penalties for shoving each other Then Davidson started pushing Weber and they fought. Not bland anymore
Commandant
Its not a natural hat trick if the other team scores in between. Farrell also scored 1 in the 1st and 2 in the second.
alfredoh2009
Marlies have been flopping around for 6-8 minutes now. They finally draw a penalty (B4ssturds!)
alfredoh2009
4 minutes to go in the 2nd, games is a bit more animated Farrell getting praises from the Marlies play-by-play (quick, trade bait)
alfredoh2009
great save by Primeau after Engstrom was very soft on his coverage
alfredoh2009
4-2 after 2 periods. I'll watch the end of the game later, I will be surprised if the y lose this one

Commandant
29 year old with 0.75 PPG in the AHL.... meh.... If after the next few games we are still in a playoff race, there is no room for him. If we fall out and make trades of vets and need callups, i'd rather see guys like Beck and Roy than a 29 year old journeyman.

He has played well, and is a good leader on the ice. I prefer Davidson's season more because it is easier for me to appreciate that type of player. Why do you like his play in Laval?
