IN THE HEARTS OF MEN
No doubt. The kid is making plays and moves on the ice only the very best players in the world can complete. And he's not even 5 games in. There's no way Lane isn't in the top 6 for game 1. I'm actually very surprised anyone is even asking this question still. And I don’t sense any pivoting from crashing dismay at Laine’s injury to breathless excitement about this kid. Maybe that’s for the best…it will allow Hutson a little more breathing room without everyone expecting him to be The Saviour, Epsiode #45646. He went mid-draft in one I did yesterday (I want to say early-200 range). I don't think people will be getting him late-round for long based on his preseason. Nobody has talked about Hutson the last few days which is probably a good thing however that might be short lived. Once the season starts and Lane starts doing exciting things then he will generate a lot of buzz again.

tomh009
Roy-Dach-Armia is interesting, wonder what lineup the Sens are submitting. And Kapanen being tested on the wing ...

tomh009
That's a pretty tall order for tonight's Habs lineup ... need some good goaltending to compensate.

I hope so, I have not watched any preseason games; but I followed him on the posts on this forum and he had a strong season last year. It should be a “next prospect up” until Laine comes back, depending who merits it out of Laval
Prime Minister Koivu
Decent period of hockey against Ottawa. Dach took a questionable hit and missed the last 5 minutes. Things are getting chippy and I expect a rough second period. Habs are now 0 for 23 on the PP this pre season 🤡

The Chicoutimi Cucumber
I suppose he's done for the season? 🙄 I'm starting to think we should not dress any NHL players for any preseason games. Just to be on the safe side.

Prime Minister Koivu
Dach started the second period and he is easily the best player on the ice.
BCHabnut
Confused between the greig interference vs xhekaj interference and how one is a 2 minute and tge other is a major and misconduct.
brindavis
Not the smartest by WiFi as they were bound to pick on him. But bullsh1t officiating has ruined the game. Dach does look good, so good at controlling the play. Arber's got to be more disciplined, whether that should have been 2 or 5 doesn't matter, was a late hit. If Xhekaj was an inch closer, Stuzle would still be down. Struble has played a great game and I think he is better than Xhekaj. Mailloux is decent but I think he needs another year in Laval. I like his play but he is shaky under pressure. Dvorak is a black hole of offence. Offensive play dies when Dvorak touches the puck.
