It is, I think if he had been 5'9.75 at draft time then he would have gone a lot higher than 62.

 

Kapanen seems to have grown which is certainly positive, given how he finished up at liiga, he could be a surprise at training camp.

We probably won't see any cuts for a while, AHL training camp doesn't start for at least another week.  No point in sending them down before then.

I think teams 1 and 2 will play the Monday/Tuesday games.  (1 tomorrow, 2 on Tuesday.)  Team 3 is all AHL-bound players.  For anyone wondering, there also isn't an intrasquad game like there used to be.

Team 3 as it is constructed cant be used for a preseason game.  It wouldnt get the required number of vets/first rounders.

Michkov's two goals in a pre-season game aren't much more meaningful than Poehling's hat trick.

 

He may or may not be a superstar, but the pre-season won't really answer that question.

It depends, if the Habs lose then they aren't meaningful BUT if they win the importance increases.
