DON Posted September 21, 2024 Posted September 21, 2024 How has his shot looked i wonder? Shoulder not quite 100% yet? Quote
Habs Fan in Edmonton Posted September 21, 2024 Posted September 21, 2024 I sure hope it's nothing. Of course we tend to expect the worst given all the injuries the last couple years. Quote

DON Posted September 21, 2024 Posted September 21, 2024 So much for Hutson's doctor's bone growth report at scouting combine. Not that matters, just was an odd thing it seemed at the time. A lighter version of Roy good to see, he seems a smart player. Quote

It is, I think if he had been 5'9.75 at draft time then he would have gone a lot higher than 62. Kapanen seems to have grown which is certainly positive, given how he finished up at liiga, he could be a surprise at training camp. Quote
Prime Minister Koivu Posted September 21, 2024 Author Posted September 21, 2024 Impressive pass by Hutson Quote
Prime Minister Koivu Posted September 21, 2024 Author Posted September 21, 2024 I’m not sure what this guy posted before but he says these are updated and given from the Canadiens. Slafkovsky 6’3.75 Quote

Prime Minister Koivu Posted September 22, 2024 Author Posted September 22, 2024 New training camp teams. Team 3 looks like they are on their way to Laval. No scrimmage Sunday Quote
dlbalr Posted September 22, 2024 Posted September 22, 2024 We probably won't see any cuts for a while, AHL training camp doesn't start for at least another week. No point in sending them down before then. 1 Quote
tomh009 Posted September 22, 2024 Posted September 22, 2024 Are they doing more scrimmage games yet before the first pre-season game? Quote

I think teams 1 and 2 will play the Monday/Tuesday games. (1 tomorrow, 2 on Tuesday.) Team 3 is all AHL-bound players. For anyone wondering, there also isn't an intrasquad game like there used to be. Commandant Posted September 23, 2024 Posted September 23, 2024 Team 3 as it is constructed cant be used for a preseason game. It wouldnt get the required number of vets/first rounders. 1 Quote
tomh009 Posted September 23, 2024 Posted September 23, 2024 We all remember how meaningful the pre-season games are, right? 😊 Quote
tomh009 Posted September 23, 2024 Posted September 23, 2024 Michkov's two goals in a pre-season game aren't much more meaningful than Poehling's hat trick. He may or may not be a superstar, but the pre-season won't really answer that question. Quote
