A couple of nice chances at the end of the second period. Would have been nice to bury one. Outshooting the Caps 21-10. Let’s keep it up in the third.

I thought this period was excellent.

They are matching the physicality of the Caps.

Think the third will get chippy.

Would have preferred Armia push back when the horn went and the Caps rushed him for a late light hit. Instead he snuck away. He is not a small guy… and yet…

Strong road game from the Habs.

Slaf’s second period was weirdly great; the other two were not at that level.

Suze had some prime shots, but seemed oddly confused in the second half of the third.

Carrier quietly impresses game after game. Boy did we need what he brings.

Dobes has been solid.

Who picked Suzuki as 1st star of the game? Looks like the poll had it at 1 person. My choice went to Caufield but he got 3rd.

There are different selections depending where you look as the televised game I watched had Suzuki, Dobeš, Caufield as the 3 stars.

NHL.com shows

1) Suzuki (MTL)

2) Frank (WSH)

3) Caufield (MTL)

So… I’ll go with that one as it’s more official.

Sometimes he’s pretty good. He makes some solid passes. I think he’s coming around… and then he just whiffs. I’m sure he’ll become more consistent. Hoping soon.

2 points behind Boston and 3 games in hand. I think Boston should fire their coach again.
