Prime Minister Koivu
Slafkovsky continues to tell reporters in interviews that he intends to play like Brady Tkachuk every game. How wonderful would that be! Dach is out with LBI that is rumoured to be his other knee but considered day to day. I think we need to evaluate Dach’s play next season but I’m not exactly brimming with confidence that he isn’t a bust. Montembault in net tonight Owen Beck has been recalled

Go kid Go Hope he keeps in mind that Dach has zero goals and 3 assists since he last scored (January 23rd) ... so no huge expectations, it's not like he is replacing Connor McDavid
DON
Fast skaters in Newhook(LH-C) & Beck(RH-C) and the other guy, hope they mesh OK.

Lanes World
“Despite missing 28 games this season there are only three #Habs who have more goals than Patrik Laine's 14 - Cole Caufield (27) Brendan Gallagher (15) and Nick Suzuki (15). #HabsIO”
Commandant
Laine scored a goal and it wasnt a one timer from his office. Shocking.
Prime Minister Koivu
Habs look pretty good. Slafkovsky looks good but needs to keep the intensity up. I thought Beck looked a bit timid but he was right there on the Laine ping pong goal.
Prime Minister Koivu
We are winning 3-0 but we only had 2 shots in the second period. A period with three PP opportunities, including a 5 on 3. 🧐

tomh009
The Canes seem to be doing a lot of holding of sticks. Including Xhekaj's when he got called.

Not so happy about the Anderson incident. 😡
Prime Minister Koivu
Montembault made several big saves to earn the shutout. Slafkovsky played well but he just doesn’t have the intensity. I would give Beck a few games at second centre to get comfortable
Commandant
We should start Dobes more, lol.
Commandant
I thought Slaf was great, his goal (and Hutsons) were both created with him going to the net. Thought he was good along the boards too. Look, he can talk all he wants, but he's never going to replicate Brady Tkachuk, he just doesn't have the mean streak. But he can use his body to get to the net and win on the boards and be a power forward and he did that the last two games.
Peter Puck
How worried were you every time Kotkaniemi got ahold of the puck?

Newhook was taking most (if not all) FOs.
Dalhabs
I hope Andersons injury isnt serious. This year could be our only chance to actually trade his contract. Or he could be useful if we somehow get back in the mix for wildcard battling.
