No matter what happens ... I'm damned proud of how they hung in and then came back to tie the game. The Caps tried to intimidate them but it really didn't work

Now let's go and win this thing!

The fat ars*hole scores. Sigh.

That said ... I think the Habs have shown that they can play in this series. Let's see what things look like on Wednesday.

Why?

If Laine touched it, there wouldn't be an icing.  Since the officials deemed he didn't touch it, crosschecking him is an interference penalty. There is no grey area with that call.  It's a good clear or a penalty.

Good point in the postgame that Laine needs to dump the puck in clean.

No excuses, that’s the sort of shoddy play you can’t do in key games.

Should have stolen this one.

Monty, Evans, Suzuki, CC were studs tonight.

Interference, cross checking, and the dman was able to make a play on puck… I mean I would not have called a penalty, but I also would not call the icing…

Y'all must have gotten another angle we didn't have down here.  Couldn't see anything after Guhle shot the puck down the ice.

They showed the replay from different angles on Sportsnet.

If he didn't touch it, then its interference (not that I expect the call in OT).

Still as the panel said, Dman was there and didn't attempt to play the puck, so should be waived off.

Yep. It's either waived or interference.  Icing is not the call.

Yep. He had the red line. Dump and get off.

The boys showed they can hang with Washington. I expect some stretch passes next game. Caps are overcommiting on o zone hits.

Yeah, Laine wasn't even visible on the only angle ESPN showed.

Thats weird.

He was right at the line... he might have touched it, I'm not 100% sure... but the dman cross-checked him in the back as the puck got there.
