GHT120 Posted October 14, 2025 Author Posted October 14, 2025 MSL starts around 24:50 ... but no questions about tonights lineup ... so I'll guess that Montembeault starts and no other lineup changes. Quote
Commandant Posted October 14, 2025 Posted October 14, 2025 Great pass by Demidov to Newhook there. Might have some chemistry. Quote
Prime Minister Koivu Posted October 14, 2025 Posted October 14, 2025 That Demidov pass is why he should be PP 1 Quote

Commandant Posted October 14, 2025 Posted October 14, 2025 Ok obviously the refs tonight are calling those picks in the offensive zone. So stop doing them. Quote
Prime Minister Koivu Posted October 15, 2025 Posted October 15, 2025 Matheson is an exceptional Dman and he playing great tonight. Demidov has incredible moments, his vision and skill to execute are outstanding. I hope he scores tonight, Slafkovsky, Suzuki, Caufield too Quote
Prime Minister Koivu Posted October 15, 2025 Posted October 15, 2025 Huge save by Montembault to end the second period. Good hockey game with lots of great plays. My only criticism is how few shots we generate considering our offensive zone time. Quote
Commandant Posted October 15, 2025 Posted October 15, 2025 Havent really liked Monty's game tonight. Quote
Prime Minister Koivu Posted October 15, 2025 Posted October 15, 2025 Yeah Monty has been mediocre I hope we can comeback Quote
Prime Minister Koivu Posted October 15, 2025 Posted October 15, 2025 DEMIDOV with a beauty PP goal to tie it up Quote
Commandant Posted October 15, 2025 Posted October 15, 2025 Thats why you have two good PP units and give PP2 time. Quote
Prime Minister Koivu Posted October 15, 2025 Posted October 15, 2025 Caufield OT winner What a friggin game Quote
Prime Minister Koivu Posted October 15, 2025 Posted October 15, 2025 Xhekaj, Carrier got buried but Habs played a decent game. Quote
sbhatt Posted October 15, 2025 Posted October 15, 2025 93 and 13 were fantastic in that game. Not our best effort, but we were the victim of two bad bounces. I chalk up the bad bounces to the hockey gods not approving of players being introduced with a DJ spinning individual entrance songs like some WWE event. Quote
The Chicoutimi Cucumber Posted October 15, 2025 Posted October 15, 2025 Arber sucked, Monty was average, but the big guns came to play tonight and it was enough to win, despite Seattle being the better and more mature-seeming team after the first period. I found Demidov quiet during the road trip, but he was starting to roll tonight, controlling the play from the corner on certain shifts in a fashion that I suspect will become iconic. What is going on with Laine’s shot? He keeps flubbing it. His confidence seems to be back in the crapper. Quote
BCHabnut Posted October 15, 2025 Posted October 15, 2025 Demidov play before the goal was so dynamic. Hutson shake and bake followed by pass to caufield. How the hell did he find that corner? A foot fro. The goal line. A hole the size of a puck and he found it. Unbelievable. Quote

Laine is playing “better” but he is still useless and I can’t imagine anyone giving him a big contract next season. Quote
