No puck luck, but we outplayed the Stars by a fair margin in that period.  You have to think that if this level of effort continues, the puck will start to go in for us.

Yeah the Habs played a good period. I think we had some solid chances and our defence is playing well.

Bad luck for Alex ... he was off to a good start ... don't know that they really have anyone in Laval to fill-in on second line, or even the third line.

 

All three goals on dangerous shots ... no whiffs ... doesn't do much good to restrict shots if most that you give up are prime scoring chances.

The callup doesn't go on that line IMO.  You already have 2 rookies. 

 

Might give them a Gallagher or Anderson and the callup takes their spot.

Moneypuck says GSAx is -3.10 at the moment (at the end of second).

 

Naturalstattrick classified three of the goals as medium-danger (though that is open to argument, of course), one as high-danger and one as low-danger.

For Boston?  Maybe Condotta in case it gets physical.  (Not sure Xhekaj has played well enough to merit one.)  Longer-term, Davidson makes sense although there was already some speculation that they'll be going after David Kampf when he becomes a free agent tomorrow.  Now with a roster and PK spot open, that might look more appealing to him.

We did see Anderson, Kapanen, Demidov at the end there.

This seems likely now. 
 

Any chance we simply claim him off waivers? Or we going to wait and try and sign
