Not what I was expecting and I’m not a fan - let’s see how they do and how long these combos stick

I like these lines. I want to see how Demidov is with a more skilled guy like Dach and how Dach responds to the opportunity. Having Kapanan on the line still provides some defensive awareness. Much better than sticking Demidov with an Anderson or Velano.

Not a great period where Montreal is getting physically beat up

Lots of special teams time so the lines were all messed up.

I did like Davidson with Evans but it’s time for Veleno to go

Bolduc, Dach, Demidov line had some good Ozone time

Well, that was a weird and eventful period.  I get the idea of trying to play physical to get the team going but if there's one team that will backfire against, it's Boston as they have way more tough guys than the Habs do.

Glad to see Evans get one to bail out Montembeault who has really been scrambly tonight.  Too bad the power play couldn't do much with the two-man advantage.

I hate putting Dobson on for 5 on 3’s.

Don’t get the pointless fighting - I hate the start the game with a fight. Xhejac was even dumber fighting with one dman already short.

Can we end the damn Dobson on the 5 on 3????

Last year the PP strength was the PP running through Hutson at the point, a coupe of times Dobson and Hutson were tripping over each other.

Dobson is supposed to be out there for his shot and his shot either sucked or he flubbed the chance.

Interesting comment from one of the "expert guests" on TSN690 this week (don't recall who) that teams have adjusted to Hutson controlling the puck on the PP because he rarely shoots and when he does it usually isn't dangerous

The Habs are not shooting.. 5 passes, at least one flubbed, allows the PK to keep position.. get a guy in the slot and get some shots.. the closest they came was a rebound.

I’m the Godin and Basu podcast they were talking about how much

better Hutson’s shot is,

When they were watching him and Demidov practice.

Much more velocity than last year.

Dobwin flubbed most of his shooting chances and his shooting tonight looked worse than Hutson last year.

when they first put Demidov on PP1, the movement by Demidov and Hutson was the strength of the PP.

mow they had three guys standing close together (Dobson, Hutson and Auzuki and the bruins let the pass it around outside and nicked most of the shots.

pathetic not to score on two 5 on 3’s!!

That didn’t take long.. notice how Boston gets a guy to the slot.. they didn’t just pass around the outside…

the coaching staff needs to adjust…

In game adjustments has been MSL’s Achilles heel.

Perhaps ... but unless/until he delivers it regularly in-game teams will look to deny him the pass and not "bite" on shot fakes.

He hit a post today. If you are putting two dman on the PP, the other team knows that the shots coming from Dobson - that’s why he is out there. So the 5 on 3 is not only ineffective - it’s more predictable.

Thankful  for the Caufield goal. Everything else was sad

Yes. Was cursing at the bad play after bad play before that.
