DON Posted November 17, 2025 Posted November 17, 2025 10-8 Habs vs 9-9 Columbus, seems like another even match-up Columbus Blue Jackets - Montréal Canadiens - Nov 17, 2025 | NHL.com 2 Quote
GHT120 Posted November 17, 2025 Posted November 17, 2025 After Zadorov, does Struble take on Olivier tonight to protect Arber? Quote
tomh009 Posted November 17, 2025 Posted November 17, 2025 Assuming it is Bolduc on PP1, it could work. It changes the dynamic of PP1, and makes PP2 more dangerous, while the opposition PK2 doesn't have the top players on the ice (or it's still a tired PK1 unit). Maybe. Quote

DON Posted November 17, 2025 Author Posted November 17, 2025 Well Joshua Roy, lets see what ya got! Why him recalled and not Beck or Xhekaj? Oh well, hope he has a great inspired game. Quote

Oh well, hope he has a great inspired game. Might they rather Beck get big minutes at centre in Laval rather than middling minutes on the wing in Montreal ... or perhaps it is a put up or shut-up moment for Roy when they have a couple of long-term Top 6/9 holes to fill ... pipe-dream: it is showcasing him because a trade is in the works. Prime Minister Koivu Posted November 18, 2025 Posted November 18, 2025 Interesting lines! Caufield - Suzuki - Bolduc Slafkovsky - Kapanen - Demidov I didn’t catch the rest Quote
GHT120 Posted November 18, 2025 Posted November 18, 2025 Brilliant team defence to let Werenski walk in and pick his spot Quote
brindavis Posted November 18, 2025 Posted November 18, 2025 What the hell was that, why didn't Dobson go to him. He literally rolled out the red carpet. When this team is on, it is hot, when it is off, it stinks. Quote
Prime Minister Koivu Posted November 18, 2025 Posted November 18, 2025 Rough start but decent finish to the period. Caufield - Suzuki - Demidov Bolduc - Kapanen - Slafkovsky Please Quote
DON Posted November 18, 2025 Author Posted November 18, 2025 10/16 on FO i guess was better. CBJ are not a very good team are they. Matheson 8:52 2 shots and 1 dumb giveaway late in 1st. Davidson 4:03 1 shot 2 hits, Habs-d combined credited with 1 hit (i miss Guhle). Quote
GHT120 Posted November 18, 2025 Posted November 18, 2025 I would ***** ALMOST ***** accept a 1-0 final since it would mean not listening to that $#%^&%$ cannon again ... 2-1, 3-1, 4-1, etc. Habs obviously better ... but I HATE that cannon 1 Quote
tomh009 Posted November 18, 2025 Posted November 18, 2025 Wow. All of a sudden this team is alive! Quote
GHT120 Posted November 18, 2025 Posted November 18, 2025 Roy misses the puck, directs it to Fantelli who is all by himself .$%^*&()_)(*&^& Quote

brobin Posted November 18, 2025 Posted November 18, 2025 Well looking like another loss coming up… they talked at the start about how the Habs are losing to all the bigger teams.. starting to look that Way.. Quote

Prime Minister Koivu Posted November 18, 2025 Posted November 18, 2025 Habs played a decent period with periods of bad Dzone coverage. Quote

CBJ just finding players uncovered in front of the net I don't think they're being physically dominated either. This is just the new reality when you have a lineup that barely meets the salary floor. Cheap roster (thanks to injuries) and the youngest team in the league means that they're going to be volatile and fragile from period to period. It's going to be like this for a while where games can swing in a hurry. 2 Quote

CBJ just finding players uncovered in front of the net I think it hurts them offensively more..all that passing and cute play isn’t working lately… and those guys in front of the net are not being tied up… while the Habs seem to struggle with net presence.. or it is a slump… one getting out of hand.
