People might come at me for looking at +/-, but I am surprised to see Evans and Anderson so far in the 'minus.' That seems a little worrisome.

Slafkovsky needs to drive line #2 again tonight. Was last game just a fluke or can Slafkovsky actually drive a line? 
 

Suzuki, Caufield clearly drive line #1 and Slafkovsky never, ever drove that line. 
 

Kapanen, Demidov rookies may be looking to Slafkovsky to lead the line and at least last game he did just that.

It's hard to be a plus when you're on a line that never scores.  Those two have combined for all of six goals while their most common linemate - Gallagher - sits at zero.  That doesn't leave a lot of plus opportunities so it's not surprising to me to see them down that far.

He didn't look great on the Ovechkin goal IMO, but Ovie has done that to dozens of goalies ... but he took himself out of place on the second and whiffed on the third ... are Sam and Jakob TRYING to lose their jobs?

Montembeault is absolutely useless, so much so that the time for a serious discussion about calling up Fowler has arrived.  It's far from ideal, but continuing to run this sieve out there risks tanking the season.  Enough is enough.

Im not sky is falling here, I'm just wondering what the 2 year goaltending plan is regarding Dobes-Mont-Fowler. 

 

I realize theres like no chance we see Fowler this year unless injuries.
