I don't think that it is wise to trade any of our goalies until it stabilizes a bit more, we are only a month past having goaltending issues. Quote
DON Posted January 10 Author Posted January 10 If they didnt have several goalie prospects in NCAA/CHL/KHL maybe be more cautious with Dobes. Not that anything like that is likely to happen before March deadline. i assume are several teams would be looking for a young back-up like him? Dobes is being passed over by St Louis who obviously has more confidence in Fowler (at moment), likely be Dobes sent to Laval soon? Canadiens vs. Red Wings: Game preview and how to watch Quote

Moving Dobeš THIS season would leave the Habs exposed if Fowler slumps or Montembeault's "recovery" doesn't last Quote
The Chicoutimi Cucumber Posted January 10 Posted January 10 Statistically, Fowler is outclassing the other two, but 8 games is nothing. I agree that at this point, depth at G is our friend. We should be thinking in terms of what we require in order to do some playoff damage. We'll need strong netminding, and none of the three can be counted on at any given moment, so keep the trio in place for the foreseeable future. Quote

Prime Minister Koivu Posted January 11 Posted January 11 Fast, hard hockey and it’s fun to watch. Poor Guhle must be struggling with fitness at this speed on his first game back. Fowler looks good Quote
dlbalr Posted January 11 Posted January 11 Nine whistles total in the first period. There are games where there's that many between commercial breaks. Quote
BCHabnut Posted January 11 Posted January 11 Boys need to start executing or this game will get away. Quote
BCHabnut Posted January 11 Posted January 11 No puck luck at all. Better played period by the habs there. Quote
Prime Minister Koivu Posted January 11 Posted January 11 Too many penalties and some very bad puck luck. Habs need to shoot more in the Ozone because Detroit is stopping the passes Quote
