Curious to see who is playing tonight and what Marty does with the lines.

I bet that no matter who returns that Veleno will play. Marty can’t help himself…despite only 4 points on the season Marty can’t resist the left handed centre that has a 1.3% better chance at winning a faceoff.

Please don’t sit Blais so that Veleno can play.

I doubt that Dach, Laine, Evans are all back tonight but if they were how would folks configure the lines?

Caufield - Suzuki - Texier

Slafkovsky - Kapanen - Demidov

Laine/Bolduc - Danault - Dach

Anderson - Evans - Gallagher

🤷‍♂️

Laine eating hot dogs

I'd keep Dach's role simple for a few games, regardless of whne he returns

Agree about Dach. Let him get some games in before taking Texier’s spot.

Always are 'spirited' affairs when they meet, but a nice one-sided Habs victory be nice to see.

Blais 5 points in 13 games

Veleno 4 points in 43 games

One guy hits and forechecks and causes trouble in front of opponents net. The other guy skates all over the place accomplishing nothing

TABARNAK

The ONE benefit I see of Veleno in the lineup is that he is 5th amongst Habs forwards in PK-TOI, providing some relief if there are A LOT of penalties to kill or a penalty killer gets a penalty `... Suzuki is 6th and Veleno avoids overtaxing the Captain

Return of Evans gives Suzuki PK relief

A couple of games ago Marty added a struggling Gallagher and a struggling Bolduc to the PP and removed Hutson and Demidov…

Marty is an outstanding coach but he isn’t perfect

Anderson penalty at the end of the period is some serious BS

Apparently over the last 5(?) games the Habs are the most penalized team in the NHL

Thankfully Tkachuck is an idiot
