GHT120 Posted March 1 Posted March 1 Anyone who posts during the third period of the game wins .................. well, nothing ... but it won't be me 1 Quote
DON Posted March 2 Posted March 2 Later weekday start, nice change for west coast Habfans, wont need to PVR game, i still will but wont 'need' to. Quote
Prime Minister Koivu Posted March 3 Posted March 3 We need a good road trip here - Buffalo and Detroit are consistently putting up points. Habs record is great but we sit in second wildcard 😕 Quote
The Chicoutimi Cucumber Posted March 3 Posted March 3 1 hour ago, DON said: Suzuki +28, Hutson/Caufield +23 Good catch. Also notable are the outliers on the other end - Bolduc, Arber, and (surprisingly to me) Evans and Anderson. That tends to reinforce the thought that the bottom end of this roster is what needs improvement. Bolduc has been a disappointment after that strong start. I’m not sure what the future holds for him…he seems to have the tools to be a solid third-liner with offensive upside, but he sure isn’t there yet. Quote

(And the Habs look to be in the first wildcard spot, Boston is four points back.) Quote
DON Posted March 3 Posted March 3 Basu commented that Bolduc was finishing ever hit he could after being scratched. SO, seems he has it in him to be more effective; but needs to bring 'it' more consistently. Anderson must be healthy, has shrugged off more than one opponent pretty easily and just seems stronger. He is on pace for 18-19 goals. I wonder what should be key focus for Habs to win this one. Quote
DON Posted March 3 Posted March 3 I guess Montembeault will then need to play either Friday- Ducks game or Sat- Kings one. Quote

It took going to the minors for a few games to really get him going down the stretch and playing with that level of intensity more consistently. Quote
DON Posted March 4 Posted March 4 Needing prodding at 23 and after 209 pro games played, not a great sign. Quote
Prime Minister Koivu Posted March 4 Posted March 4 Habs played a decent period but the Celebrini line is causing us havoc 1 Quote
DON Posted March 4 Posted March 4 Yes, 71 is getting many good looks. Anderson 1shot 1 block 1 hit in 3:28 Quote

sbhatt Posted March 4 Posted March 4 I don't know that I want to stay up late for this garbage. Quote
Commandant Posted March 4 Posted March 4 If this was Monty instead of Dobes (and the goals exactly the same) the posts here would be a lot different. Quote

brobin Posted March 4 Posted March 4 Dobes isn’t having a great game either. Neither of our goaltenders are strong enough to win a cup. Quote
DON Posted March 4 Posted March 4 5-4, making a game of it. Nice to see both Demidov and Newhook score. And Demidov draws a penalty. Quote
brobin Posted March 4 Posted March 4 Horrible defensive play again.. the sharks are not a powerhouse team.. the Habs just can’t play disciplined defense. Constantly running around Quote
