Prime Minister Koivu Posted April 25 Posted April 25 Three games, three overtimes We need Dach, Texier, Bolduc to be just as effective. What a great and ballsy move by St. Louis Dobes hasn’t been perfect but he has consistently made 10 bell saves at key times. Dobes is dialed in Habs PP needs work but the PK has been pretty good. Still Montreal would do well to stop taking so many penalties Even if Tampa players are expert divers GO HABS GO 1 Quote
Prime Minister Koivu Posted April 25 Author Posted April 25 I am not advocating for any roster moves but I would be open to sitting Danault for Gallagher Anderson - Evans - Gallagher Quote
tomh009 Posted April 25 Posted April 25 I don't foresee Gallagher getting into the lineup for game four. Maybe later, depending on how the next game or two go. Quote

Helmethead Posted April 25 Posted April 25 Nostradamus I am not by my spidey senses are telling me that line #1 pulls a full 180 and outright wins us the game and the series. Quote

I’m not disappointed in Danault but it’s clear that he isn’t as fast as he used to be. Quote

DON Posted April 26 Posted April 26 FWIW; Statcard showed Danault as the; 6th, 4th & 8th best forward in the first 3 games. I was surprised how few faceoffs he has taken, but Evans is killing it. Quote
dlbalr Posted April 26 Posted April 26 It's dependent on what side the draw is being taken on. At this point, more have been on Evans' strong side than Danault's. (Plus I'm not sure Danault is 100% at the moment.) Quote
The Chicoutimi Cucumber Posted April 26 Posted April 26 Great thread 👍 Serge Savard! Great choice for the torch Quote
DON Posted April 26 Posted April 26 Cant complain about the PP, looked good and get another PP. Quote
The Chicoutimi Cucumber Posted April 26 Posted April 26 Great looking PP. Problem is there will be a make up call for that stinker on Matheson. Who has looked terrible in the early going BTW Quote
DON Posted April 26 Posted April 26 WHY does he go braindead in own zone if given lots of time and space? Quote

Thank God Struble is looking strong because #8 seems confused. He has to be better. TB had a strong second half after the Habs took it to them for the first 10 or so. Quote
Prime Minister Koivu Posted April 26 Author Posted April 26 Habs gave up way too many high danger chances. Newhook surely saved a goal by tying up his man behind the net when Dobes was caught flat, way out of position. I'm liking Bolduc’s physicality Quote

Instead of 'see player, make pass', more time to think can lead to 'see player, try to do something extra, then whoops'. Quote
The Chicoutimi Cucumber Posted April 27 Posted April 27 Swell. Anderson with boarding and now he's hurt. Calice Quote
brobin Posted April 27 Posted April 27 Dumb play by Anderson.. hopefully he isn’t hurt but he needs to play with some discipline Quote
