If I'm right that the Habs are fundamentally exhausted, the game will be about hanging on just enough to eke out a victory despite being outplayed - which has been the template for four of their last five games. Of course, what I would love to see is a return of the Habs we saw for most of the season, and for Game 1: fast, unbelievable skill, crazy transition game, high octane hockey, with enough physical pushback to neutralize any thought of intimidation. A really irritating subplot is the terrible home record during the playoffs. How does a team take what is universally recognized as THE best home arena atmosphere, with THE most fanatically loyal fanbase, and turn that gold into turds? 🤔 Quote

The Canes' forecheck is very aggressive and if we get in trouble if we can't slip it Quote

It's so frustrating to see the habs gimp their strength which is speed and mobility making low percentage passes, that when they miss they give the other team more Offensive zone possession. Also, I feel so bad for Demidov, he tries so hard on his shits, but his linemates are not up to par. I'd love to see Demidov on the top line with Caufield and Suzuki. Quote
