I do not believe Gainey will dress 12 forwards I think he will go with 7 defenseman.

Thanks for starting the thread go habs 2002.

Yeah, I like the idea of playing Kovalev on the second and fourth lines. Not to mention with our hurting Dmen we need all the available players we have back there.

Go simpson Go, I want Tucker painted on the glass tonight!

This could be the most exciting game of the year. I hope both teams bring it tonight, and with their 5-1 pasting the other night, Toronto should be ready. Can Montreal peel off two excellent games in a row and start a little winning streak? They better!!!!

7 Dmen is more than likely. Bouillon will not be able to play, he's had a setback with his ankle.

This is a huge game. Can the team come out and pick up on the momentum they started last game. Here is yet another chance to show some killer instinct. To really get out there and play two good games in a row.

I expect Huet to start and play another super solid game.

I also expect another huge performance from the leaders of this team, Koivu and Kovalev.

the other important games tonight for scoreboard watching

Atlanta @ NY Islanders

NY Rangers @ Tampa Bay

Let's hope for the NY sweep tonight, but more importantly we need to focus on our own game.

ATL is playing NYI, so I think we can assume that they'll grab another 2 points.

No excuses. We've got to WIN tonight! I hope we get the same strong showing from everyone again tonight. I imagine Domi'll be playing, so I want to see Simpson FLATTEN that asshole.

Prediction: 4-3 Habs (Koivu, Ryder, Kovalev, and Souray)

Hey kaos, you know as well as I that the CANADIENS generally come off the All Star break red hot. This year the break was the Olympic break. It's pretty well the same as any other year in that there's typically 25 games to go, or close to it.

Now, they tend to win 6 straight and then drop 2 or 3 and then go on another 4, 5 or 6 streak again. I hope this pattern continues. Based on these "patterns" they should be on another streak...Cross em fingers.

GO :hlogo: GO

PS. Hence why I was practically devastated they dropped that game to the Isles.

This is the most important game of the year. As is every game from now till the end of the year. This team can afford no let ups.

Goal #1 Win

Goal #2 Don't get hurt

And I've been riding him lately, so I'll predict Koivu scores two.

ODE TO LEAF FANS SONG:

Buds can't win the prize, I have to watch the Habs win another one,

All my dreams, pass before my eyes, My team's a tragedy,

Smelling the wind, leaves are a fart smell in the wind.

This team sucks, rearrange leafs the anagram makes them fleas,

All we do, is a waste of time, though we refuse to see,

Dust in the wind, Leefs are just dust in the wind.

Don't hang on, nothing lasts forever & the blue & white die,

It's all so gay, and all their money won't another Cup buy.

Dust in the wind, Leefs are just dust in the wind,

Dust in the wind, this year is dust in the wind.

Every year is just dust in the wind

Great site by the way!

Just a prediction from my crystal ball.

I think the score will be similar to Thursdays Game. Im callin 5-2 Habs.

Koivu will finally get out o fthat 20 game goal less drought. He will get the first goal of the game.

Kovalev with 2

Souray with 1

Begin with 1

3 point night for Kovalev( I hope..have him in a pool)

Huet will make the three start selection again.

GO HABBBBBBBBBBBS!

I will take this opportunity to beg the Habs to win both games this weekend... It's my bday tomorrow, and it would be the ultimate present to give me a playoff spot. I'll be turning 25.. the Habs'll be winning their 25th cup... It's simply meant to be... :P
