Komisarek the Cruncher
Go Habs Go !!! Kick their asses again !!! Going back to Mtl with a 2-0 lead will be devastating to the poor little Canes. As I mentioned yesterday, I'm not scared of that team. Without Cole, they are not the same team. Staal's line as average per player a nice -13 rating since Cole's injury.... Also, they are facing the real Habs for the first time (Huet instead of Theo, Markov and Kovalev not hurt) and they just realized that we are much better then anticipated. Last night was a wake up call for the Canes...the "time to go tee off" kind of wake up call...

mathieu30
don't wanna die so young and so beautyful. Me neither "The first game means nothing. The second game is the test of character." "I had too much space and too much time on my hands. I could really pick the corner and shoot pretty much anywhere I wanted. I felt like it was practice. When you have too much time like that, all you need to do is take a good shot and make sure it's hard and put it where you want to put it." -Alex Kovalev Gotta love Alex, gotta love him. Go Habs go! :hlogo: :hlogo: :hlogo:

Go Habs go! :hlogo: :hlogo: :hlogo: Glad to hear him say that. We need to play with confidence but not overconfident. Everything looked great but let's try to cut down on the shots allowed, I know they were not all quality shots, but still too many. I'm glad to see we didn't sit back with the lead, have to do that again, play 60 full minutes. Go Habs Go

Athlétique.Canadien
The only thing that is unsettling is that the Canes are now... FURIOUS The Habs had better realize that. I'm sure Bob and Carbo will remind them that the Canes are a sleeping giant that we may have awoken. Getting game 2 and going back to Montreal is definitely preferred. Go Habs :hlogo:

dark_faerie87
Interesting, I was looking at our past playoff records against Hartford/Carolina and I noticed a trend: sweep, seven games, six games, sweep, seven games, six games. Does that mean this series will finish as a perfect 4-0 sweep for Les Glorieux? :ghg:
gohabsgo252006
I can't wait i'm so pumped about the game tommorow night, it can't come soon enough. I expect the team to come out and weather the storm from Carolina early and then turn it on and Take it to them. Huet is the man. Trizzak
That last game took me by surprise. I hope the Habs can keep up the momentum. Coming home with a 2 - 0 lead in the series would be incredible.
lazy26
This'll be a tough one... BUT it should be a true test of the Habs' character, because the Canes are gonna come out with all cylinders firing... A win for the Habs here would be HUGE! GO HABS GO!!! GO HABS GO!!! :hlogo: Edited April 23, 2006 by lazy26
JMMR
Well everyone knows this game is enormous! Does anyone know if Begin has skated? I feel Huet will be forced to make some bigger saves this game, and I believe his team is confident he will get the job done!

thehabbit
Go :hlogo: Go well i am sure that gainey will have the players heads in the right place before this one and i expect it to be a tight game,,,,,my prediction is overtime and a canes win if gerber can put together his first strong performance in over a month......however at the same time i believe this to be somewhat unlikely and if the habs score first and especially the first two, look for the habs to win by 3....maybe 4-1 i know its kind of a wishy washy prediction but nostradamus i aint! anyways the habs will take this series!!!! dark_faerie87
All four games tonight were a reversal of the first games. Hope that trend changes for the Habs. I wouldn't say they were complete reversals, but the end results were. I thought Edmonton, Anaheim and even Tampa Bay played well enough for the win on game one, but managed to get the job done tonight. Regardless, I'm sure our beloved Habbies will play hard and leave us satisfied. By the way, are you from Parksville, BC?
