Bacchus
I like these ones - ecept for the first one though, which I don't really get. Simpsons, tv cartoon show featuring bart and homer. Well it is a funny section that has no bearing on anything aside from its pure hilarity. I laugh every time I hear it. You would have to see it to understand I suppose. Love those Einstein quotes, especially the one about making mistakes, and infinity. Definitely keepers.

jetsniper
I thought Depp ad-libbed most of his lines in the first movie then the writers took more control over his stuff for the sequel.

That's true, but I'm not sure which lines were improvised and which weren't. Either way, he's got some great lines in that movie.
ozhab
"You mess with the bull, son, you get the horns" - my fave motivational speech for my staff "Do or do not - there is no try" - how the hell is Yoda NOT on this thread yet?
shortcat1
Okay, this is a pretty random thread but I know everyone has their own favourite quote/saying that they use. Here are a couple of my faves: "I've been called worse things by better people" (the one from PTG's old avatar or whatever it's called. "No one can make you feel inferior without your consent" This one is a facy way of saying "You can't embarass the shameless" - I find them true though. How about this one from Dark Faerie's MSN name - "nothing, nothing is wrong, and asking is against the rules. crying is against the rules. you're strong, don't let them break you." There are also funny quotes. Like a certain captured criminal that was brought to the gallows. His final words were "Are you sure it's safe?" Major Jack Sparrow moment, right there. Something I always wondered: "Nobody's perfect" vs "Practice makes perfect" Of course there are others but I'm sure (and I'm sure others too) are always interested in a good quote. So anyone there who can hit me up with some quotes? the ones that do it for me is when my wife says "I love you". She doesn't often SAY it though she often shows it but they're beautiful words to hear. Go :hlogo: Go!

Yes - forgot that one. It was written on the entrance door to the heart transplant rehab room while I was recovering 7 years ago. Can't believe I forgot all about that one - I love that one...... shortcat1
Speaking of movie lines... Here's some that strike (striked) me. "Bond... James Bond" "God!" & "Sweet" "Dave, my mind is going. I can feel it. I can feel it. My mind is going. There is no question about it. I can feel it. I can feel it. I can feel it. I'm a... fraid." "Why throw your life away?" "My Chief ordered me to guard this run." "YOUR Chief?" Pick out the movies (two are easy, one is sort of easy, the last one... that'll be a real thumper. Go :hlogo: Go! BTH
Eleanor Rigby (The Beatles) Ah, look at all the lonely people Ah, look at all the lonely people Eleanor Rigby picks up the rice in the church where a wedding has been Lives in a dream Waits at the window, wearing the face that she keeps in a jar by the door Who is it for? All the lonely people Where do they all come from? All the lonely people Where do they all belong? Father McKenzie writing the words of a sermon that no one will hear No one comes near Look at him working, darning his socks in the night when there's nobody there What does he care? All the lonely people Where do they all come from? All the lonely people Where do they all belong? Ah, look at all the lonely people Ah, look at all the lonely people Eleanor Rigby died in the church and was buried along with her name Nobody came Father McKenzie wiping the dirt from his hands as he walks from the grave No one was saved All the lonely people (Ah, look at all the lonely people) Where do they all come from? All the lonely people (Ah, look at all the lonely people) Where do they all belong? http://www.beatles-lyrics.net/beatles-eleanor-rigby.html (the link'll play the song for you)
