sakiqc
Should be an interesting game. With a win we would only be 5 pts behind Ottawa! It's special to see the Habs right behind New Jersey and Ottawa. I'm really proud of the team this year ribs 21pts last 19games koivu 21 last 23 ryder 20 last 19 zed 17 last 19 4 players with near 1 pt per game.. not bad! Go habs GO Tonight's prediction: 2-2 Dackell, Markov Havlat, White :ghg:
puck7x
I dont have much hope that the habs come out of tonight with any points , we're playing a monster-power team. The sens can dominate basically any team in the NHL ... WHEN THEY WANT TO (in case you bring up the Leafs games) ... Dagenais and Perreault sit tonight , Dackell is healthy and back in the lineup , and Kilger will also re-enter the lineup... Bulis - Koivu - Ryder Zednik - Ribeiro - Ward Sundstrom - Juneau - Dackell Kilger - Begin - Langdon Markov - Quintal Bouillon - Brisebois Rivet - Komisarek Theodore Garon Scratched - Dagenais , Perreault Injured - Souray
Dalhabs
Facing the sens on the road... prediction: Habs 2 (Koivu, Markov) Sens 5 (Alfredsson 2, Chara 2, Bonk)
puck7x
My prediction.... 8-1 Sens Sens : Hossa (2) , Havlat (2) , Alfredsson , Smolinski , Phillips , Neil Habs : Brisebois Ever heard of the Saint Valentines day Massacre? We'll its happening again tonight. [Edited on 2004-2-14 by puck7x]
puck7x
Here is the forward lines as reported by RDS... Bulis - Koivu - Ryder Sundstrom - Ribeiro - Zednik Kilger - Juneau - Ward Langdon - Begin - Dackell Sundstrom with Ribeiro and Zed... hmm , I wonder how that will work out , its a nice chance for Sunny to prove himself on the top lines , he's earned his shot ... I like the 3rd line , its got some grit on the wings ... if only Kilger played with it EVERY night.

Leafs Suck
Dagenais out and Kilger in? What's up with the coach? Dagenais is one of the few Habs who are producing. Why put in Chad Kilger? He's a waste of a roster spot. He does nothing. He is useless.
TheAussiePosse
if you haven't noticed, Dagenais actually isn't producing. and when he doesn't produce, he goes invisible. and that's not good when our 5-on-4 hockey isn't superb. no, he needs to wake up again, and what better than a friendly meeting with El Bencho
Dalhabs
varada injured? Great... at least we get to keep our goalies in one peace now when cheapshot varada isnt in the game.. I really hate Varada since he played in buffalo and rammed Theo.
jl.roberts
I really like tonight's lines. Sundstrom will be very interesting on the second line with Ribeiro, and Kilger and Ward are finally back together! Those two are great together, should be fun tonight. Go :hlogo: Go
TheAussiePosse
Sundstrom-Ribeiro-Zednik Pairing a playmaker and a playmaker (IMO) isn't the smartest. If we had some more beef on that wing, or some more speed, then we'd be better off. But Sundstrom is just a Jack of All Trades. Nothing special, everything average
puck7x
1-0 Sens after 1st period... Chara with a goal late in the first , took a wicked shot from just inside the blueline that went off 3 posts and in past Theodore... Theodore has no excuse for letting that in , even though it was an awesome shot , Jose still should of stopped it because of the distance it was shot from , and Theodore's clear view of the puck... Toren
That reminded me of Dan Cloutier in the playoffs when Niklas Lidstrom blasted it from center ice and Cloutier tried to glove it. That play should have been nailed into Theo's head. Get in front of the puck, don't leave it to just the blocker.
Quebecois
Habs came out pretty good, but after about 5-7 minutes the Sens started to take control. Theo definetely should have stopped that shot from Chara, no matter how good of a shot it was. A point or two would be great tonight, but i'm trying not to expect anything. Just gotta hope the leafs win (can't believe i'm saying it.)
Toren
Begin scores to make it 1-1. It was a classic Begin goal. Rush to the net, good things will happen. Like pucks bouncing off you.
puck7x
Habs playing a strong 2nd , got rewarded with a Begin goal... They are looking alot faster then the Sens , sens taking penalties trying to hold us up... Now its time for habs to take advantage of the PP's and score.
jeppa
I would like to see CJ try Begin on the PP as a Holmstrom kind of pest infront of the net. It's worth trying. Update on Souray: Sprained MCL out 4-6 weeks.
puck7x
Sens take the lead again (2-1) on another fluke goal , this time be Redden , point shot that somehow got in... on the PP... 2nd period is over. Habs outplayed the sens in that period , but end up on the wrong side of the score at the end of it... Habs are getting no bounces or luck tonight ... (Okay maybe our first goal , but thats it)
puck7x
3-1 Sens , they scored a copy of the Chara goal... Theodore whiffed again... 2 horrible Salo-type goals in one game? wtf?
puck7x
Now 4-1 sens... Theodore had some bad rebound control on that goal , and the first shot causing the rebound nearly beat him... Theodore is way way off tonight , I dunno why CJ hasnt put Garon in yet. Game over... Now lets see how close the sens get to my 8-1 prediction. jl.roberts
It's so nice of our goaltender to step up in such a big game. I like Theo, but if he's really the man he can't let these goals in. I want to cry.
jl.roberts
Garon goes in 7:00 into the third.
Toren
Begin scores again shorthanded to make it 4-2. I guess we're back in it. Let's hope we pick now to start scoring.
Quebecois
We didn't quit on this one, sadly the Leafs did and the Sabres are gonna gain on us again. It is getting tense now, our 12 point lead has almost evaporated entirely, especially with the Sabres holding two games in hand.
