(Is it still the fleet center?) In Boston MA , USA When: THURSDAY Feb 26 , 2004 , 7:00PM EST Coverage: RDS CKAC/CJAD/Team990* (* - postgame only) Projected Habs lineup Perreault - Koivu - Zednik Dagenais - Ribeiro - Ryder Dackell - Juneau - Sundstrom Langdon - Begin - Ward Bouillon - Brisebois Dykhuis - Quintal Rivet - Komisarek Theodore Garon Extra: Kilger, Markov (out of town) Injured: Bulis , Souray
Big big game! (duh) , last time we played the Bruins we dominated them but Raycroft beat us by himself (He should win the calder , and I am a huge Ryder fan!) ... Bruins have a much better road record then home record , so we get a break that the game is in Boston. lol ... Bergeron is injured for the Bruins , its a shame... I would of liked to see Komisarek introduce him to the boards. Oh well , maybe next year...
danyjay
i'll dip myself in hot water but seriously i think the Bruins will win this one .. :can: hate me hehe
Dalhabs
I think we will ride the win over the sens and beat the bruins. HABS: 7 Bruins: 2 Everything will go in in the first 30 minutes. After period 2 we will have a 5-1 lead. :ghg:

puck7x
The combined goals/goals-against in this season series is 4-2 boston in 4 games... So predicting 7-2 habs might be a little over the top. I say .... 1-1 tie.
habsfan88
I say a tie too....but I hope to god its anything but a loss. The bruins are red-hot and so the canadiens need to come out flying!! GO HABS GO:hlogo: :can:
jeppa
If we can play like last game we have a great shot winning this! :ghg:
habsfan88
Ya but more players other than zednik, koivu, ribeiro and ryder need to step up. I would also like to say that bouillion is doing great! cant wait till souray gets back and then komisarek/dykhuis can just go back to the AHL. markov is missed too...... puck7x
Markov travelled all night from Russia to Montreal , got here in time for game , took pregame skate ... But will not play ... I think he's too tired (with good reason) ... Oh well , at least we'll have him for Saturday.
Natural Mystic
yeah... at least hes back game time... just have to play like they did in ottawa and they will be fine imo GO HABS GO:hlogo:
puck7x
Okay ... Markov is playing... Man , the media ######ed it up with him... Everyone said something different. I'm glad he's back , but Komisarek sits in favour of Dykhuis? wtf?
puck7x
1-0 Habs on a Perreault goal from Koivu .... Koivu in the corner passes to wide open yanic in slot , Yanic beats Raycroft high.
puck7x
2-1 Habs after 1.... 2nd habs goal was a sweet goal by Ryder , well the "sweet" part of the play was Ribeiro with his move , puck puck through his own legs and forward to get around Rolston , then found Ryder... nice... Shots: 15-13 boston after 1 (thats alot of shots!)
Natural Mystic
this game is crazy... tied 2-2 montreal is on the pp halfway through the 3rd... habs are being outplayed but still in it!
Natural Mystic
overtime...man that was crazy... just held on for that point... im happy with the point... cause boston is really playing good... but another point would be better:)

jl.roberts
Geez, can Rivet play his 500th game every night? Way to go Craig. :hlogo:
Habs77
And Rivet was having a very good night before that goal. He's really been a life saver since Souray was injured, and even more when Markov was also gone. that's why I was so pissed at him for most of the year, it was frustrating to see him playing so badly for quite some time now... when I knew he was capable of being a real asset. Hope it lasts. And what about Ribeiro and his moves, he's one of those rare players who make the ticket price worth it all on his own. And Ryder just keeps scoring huge goals... the wonder kids leading us to the playoffs. Who would have thought?
Bonavistaman11
Another huge win, incresing the lead on the isles Sabres and Panthers...Also gaining on the Devils, just 6 behind them now with 3 games left against them.. Could the Habs possibly catch the Devils??? IMO, i hope they dont.. If the Habs finish 6th that means a first round match against the lightning, i dont think anybody wants to face those guys in the first round. As i said before, for some reason i hope the teams first round opponent is Philly.. :ghg:

This isnt like past years when the SE team would automatically 3rd , this year Tampa can win the conference... They are the hottest team in the NHL right now and are showing no signs of slowing down ... They are 3 points back of Philly (1st in East) and have 2 games in hand on them... As for playing TB , I'm not liking the idea... I think I'd rather play Philly ...
Habs77
I'd rather face the ailing Flyers or shaky in nets Senators than Tampa or Toronto. And I'd even rather face the deep, big, tough and dirty Leafs than Tampa... St-Louis just scares me to death. I just have nightmares of him skating through Quintal, Breezer, Rivet all night long. Let someone else take Tampa out for us
Bonavistaman11
Tampa are really playin well, but i still think they'll finish third. Either way i hope the habs avoid them. :ghg:
