At the same age as Slafkovsky is now, Lafreniere was ripping the WJC with Barrett Hayton.

Hayton is a fringe player and Lafreniere is a healthy scratch 3 yrs later.

Can we please stop with Slafkovsky would be way better off at the WJC and just let his development continue?!?
