  1. It's also unlikely that Eller will be healthy to start the season so if they move Gomez (for player(s) that don't play C) and decide to promote from within, we could be looking at Desharnais as the #2, Engqvist at 3, with one of White/Pyatt moving back to C temporarily to start. Yeesh, that's scary.

Another former HWL'er popping up this week too, how are things? Haven't heard from you in a while...

I would take the risk if it means moving that 7million dollar contract. Promote from within makes or worst case make a crazy offer for Richards or Laich...

Things have been good, I decided to make a little pop up visit haha....maybe re-joining HWL ;) was suppose to happen a few months back but something came up and had zero time. How's everything with you man ?

    Is Eller injured?

    Shoulder surgery if not mistaken

  2. While he goes has the potential, I don't think he's ready to step in and put up the production we need from a second line center on a team that will be hoping to make a playoff impact.

You're right on that one, but if I were to choose between Scott Gomez and Lars Eller I know who i'd take.

They would prob put up about the same amount of points either way haha.

  3. Now out of the playoffs and looking to sell...just traded Boynton yesterday.

you serious? the team was set up perfectly to contend, all it needed was someone with time.

Colin you know what you should have done !

  4. I will go by Haydis.....don't worry, I deal with the Mike issue all the time.

    thanks boys

    Haydis

I left you an awesome team man, i have no clue who you are but MAKE ME PROUD !!

  5. Can you at least sign an AHL team so the new GM (assuming this league doesn't fold) isn't stuck with a bunch of horrible contracts?

Yeaaaaa.........why you think my ahl team is as bad as it is...i got no time or the will to do it anymore.

nice good bye tho  lol

whoa! shocker! u dismantled the team, but then rebuilt them to more than respectable - u were a great GM. sorry to see u go.

    btw thanks revv lol

  6. Alright guys here it goes...I'm gonna have to end my tenure with the HWL and GM of the Dallas Stars.

I noticed lately that I haven’t had much time at all to contribute to the league anymore, also considering there is a lot less active gm’s that there used to be, so that does affect other general managers in making their team more competitive.

I’m at an age right now that I got a lot of things to think about social life, work, school, and noticed HWL was always last on my list of things to do, so to not hurt the stars or the league im dropping it for now and who knows maybe i’ll be back *cough* maca, Colin, Alex *cough* haha

Have fun guys make sure you give the stars to someone who deserves them !!

Ciao and thanks for the fun times ;)
