I posted words to this effect a couple of games back.
He sucked all of last year and he has been average to mediocre this year.
There will come a point where we do have to ask if this is what he is now. We're not at that point yet, but this cannot continue.
What a disaster that would be.
Last 200 regular season games
Games 1-100- 1.97 GAA .934 sv%
Games 101-200- 2.78 GAA .907 sv%

This news really saddens me. I guess the whole idea was to get him to Game 1000, but it still seems an unfortunate end to the career of one of the best, classiest Habs of this era.
I was never a huge fan, but you have to respect what the guy has done for this franchise

He is very streaky.
Galchenyuk starting out better 6pts in 7gms, but has only taken and lost 3 faceoffs on the PP, so not sure if being used much at centre?
I've been waiting for that hot streak. It probably will happen, but CC is right about a possible decline
-
Pacioretty- 2 points in 12 game. Yikes
-
Price could easily rebound, but man, at what point do we start getting worried...
-
Atleast this team can score... fun to watch again
-
Price atleast 3 goals in each of last 5 games
-
That pass.
Domi is legit
-
Juulsen nursing something
-
It's weird how guys can light up the ahl, yet are only fringe players in the nhl
-
Montreal has allowed the sixth most goals/60 minutes when holding the lead in the league.
Price 5-4-2, 2.81 gaa, 9.01 sv%.
This team has played well enough in front him for his numbers to be better than that
-
This isn't the first time Drouin has looked like he didn't give a shit out there.
-
Nice goal. 9 goals in 10 games now, for Domi

Drouin made the idiot play, Petry wasn't on the ball to bail him out for it. But brain-dead Drouin is the main culprit there.
Very true
Petry screaming at Drouin on bench apparently
-
Wtf was Petry doing there

Because puck moving defenceman are also highly valuable and Hughes is also very, very good. A potential 60+ point defenceman.
An elite c prospect would have been a no brainer.
I just hope people are keeping expectations in check with Kotkaniemi.

I had him ranked third.
I also said that I had it tiered with1 (way ahead)
2) (way behind 1, but way ahead of 3)
3 - 8 or so in the same tier.
If you saw a 70+ point centre in Kotkaniemi. Why wouldn't he be your lock at #3.
-
Were you not saying this team should draft Hughes, for the longest time?

Glad that Ouellet continued to play well. Benn seemed to be reverting to his 2017 form, but held on
I did not notice Mete, but I think Juulsen and Reilly played better than last game
Domi's line played well; heck, there are quite a few positives despite a shaky start
I an just glad they are playing .500 hockey.
As soon as I compliment a player ( Benn), they end up shitting the bed the next game.
I did the same thing with Hudon a couple games ago...

Sorry i forgot math was hard
Just a guy being critical to try and prove a point.... -1 this one too while you're at it.

Actually here is your exact quote
"basically a point per game player"
He score 0.887 PPG.... thats not close in my book.
As for Kotkaniemi, you never addressed the fact that you assumed i had only watched him after he was drafted by Montreal.
"Basically"
Sorry, I forgot you had a season tickets for assat in Finland.

Domi 8 goals in last 9 games.

7 points in 62 games is more than 0.1 ppg.
He is more than 10% short of being a ppg.
Noone calls 70 point guys (and his pace was under 70 per 82) a ppg guy
I never said he was a point per game player, for the 100th time. Or should I say 98.9th time...
He was close.
Listen, I'll be happy as a pig in shit if Kotkaniemi becomes a 70+ point guy, but i think those expectation are little skewed for a kid that has never been pegged as an elite scorer....
I'd be interested to see what DlBalr says about the kid.

How many times did Drouin and Domi pass the puck back and forth in the corner on that power play. I mean it's pointless(no pun). The puck isn't being cycled enough.
