  1. I agree, this is where the Habs will show what there made of. Every team can have a bad game and how they rebound from it shows what there made of.
  2. Yeah you're probably right Howie. I saw the a of Dags in training and it looked like he was moving in slow motion. I'm also concerned that a guy like him would be missed if the new NHL doesn't last. Guess we shouldn't be looking at that, but you never know. Its still so early in the season.
  3. I was speaking hypothetically. Compare the type of player you will usually get as 3rd or 4th round draft to dags and they won't measure up. Dags is better than that even if which ever team drafted him picked him up on that round. Dags on a hot streak should be worth a second round pick.
  4. Nothing went right tonight. A combination of errors and bad bounces cost us the game early. Markov was responsible for the 1st goal 2nd and 3rd were all Theo 4th and 5th were some sniper shots and not great defensive coverage. This isn't enough to explain it though as there were some big saves by NY, posts and at times shots on net without much creativity. With a few lucky bounces we could have put NY on their heels. The first period we were getting circles skated around us. Thats where Julian has to drop the hammer. Either we were tired or we understimated NY and thats no good
  5. Dags isn't our problem, he's surplus and trading him away for a third round is a waste. Chances are you couldn't get him as a third round or if you could you'd be happy. Wait till he gets a few good games and then shop him around. He's bound to have some eventually. I really feel sorry for the guy. Ribeiro wasn't doing any better with more ice time up till a little while ago. And there have been others that have been a no show in a few games. Remember we traded Perreault, even though he could score and win face offs, because he would float around most of the time. There are a few players that might fit that bill in time. Wait and see is the best policy for now [Edited on 2005/10/30 by Lister110]
  6. CBC headquarters should be moved to Ottawa. That would end the racists quickly. A gov't channel having spokesmen openly saying anti-French and Euro comments is disgusting. Cherry holds back a bit on French Canadians but past remarks and bias in his coverage keeps his prejudice alive and well. No wonder we have seperatists when the national game on the national channel keeps an openly English biggot. Sorry in advance for the rant, but this is something that on and off again shocks me. Its like having a KKK doing the sports coverage on CNN. How long would that last! [Edited on 2005/10/30 by Lister110]
  7. Toronto is the multicultural capital of Canada with the biggest racists hockey fans. What a contrast!
  8. Well one little snag on the way to the playoffs. At least the two on Danis will silence the Theo critics even though the 3 goals in the first won't. Theo owes us and he'll pay us back, I'm sure of it [Edited on 2005/10/30 by Lister110]
  9. We score one now it will be great fot the crowd Go Habs
  10. there could still be a miracle and if not we'll get even in NY.

  13. They must still be stiff from the Ottawa game even though the Sens don't seem to be too affected [Edited on 2005/10/29 by Lister110]
