I sympathize nhfarber, I was listening to CJAD while I was doing my undergrad in TO. You can't deny a Habs fan the right to make comments from the radio if that's all they've got. And its true you can pick up a lot from the radio like the tone of the comments made. If the announcers are pissed with a call and they're describing missed calls and the coaches reactions, there is a good chance it was a bad call. Also from past habs games you can draw on past bullshit. You know Montreal gets it a lot and between the two you can sort of visualize what they're talking about. Could be that the announcers are totally biased, but CJAD is pretty fair from what I've experienced.

Leafs lose 8-2 there's my happy thought.
Lets keep it cool boys, hopefully we meet on better circumstances in the next game.

No doubt this loss was are own making, but when the refs make shit calls that have major effects on the game it deserves to be pointed out. Like that game in Toronto that we were cheated in, the team gets worse when its good efforts are stolen away.
Complaining doesn't change anything, just makes it easier to eat a bowl of shit.

Before you jump all over Ryder, maybe take a look at the actual penalties and see if they are good calls, also maybe think about the fact that he's been our best (and often only) offensive weapon the last 2 weeks.
Yeah and I suppose in your eyes, that Sundstrom penalty shot was a good call right?
Bad reffing can work both ways. Inconsistency is a nasty thing. Did the hook result in Sundstrum (ed) not getting a shot off? Not sure about that one

stuff like that happens... i maintain that the calling of penalties in overtimes, end of periods, etc... is a GOOD thing
The problem is that they don't call them for a length of time and the give one to us at the worse time. These refs weren't that bad withstanding the Higgins goaltender interference and the non-call on the Ribeiro hook job that contributed to a Wild goal.
I'd rather see conspiracies than be naive

Not like that last game of ours against the Oilers. I had pissed even later on the next day.
Today is really good though TO loses and so does New Jersey. We need a win tonight.

I wonder if Wayne will just decide to throw in the towel for the year. He has too much going on. Every team he plays against busts there ass to make team Canada. He has to take notes on these players while coaching his team and lots of other stuff I'm sure...too much resign.

I'm happy the doctors didn't let him play. I think he should be rested to the point that re-injuring his leg is not possible. Kovalev plays a rough and tumble game. His leg needs to be able to withstand all the abuse that will be thrown at him. When he comes back I want it to be for good.
