I heard the other day that Gino Odjick is thinking of making a comeback. Rumour? Beware of the indian. If he isn't coming back as an enforcer he could take on an other offer, this comes from the same source, he could join team Russia as an assistant GM.

RDS just changed its article to make it, well, more confusing. It now states that Danis was sent down to play some games this week with the Dogs and Huet, who practised today, will be backup on Thursday. Then the article says Danis will be back in Montreal on Saturday and they will take a decision on Huet at that time. It also says that Huet would then be sent down for a conditioning stint and that, since the Habs now have 24 men on the roster, Ivanans has been sent down (currently on waivers).
I think I understand from this that Danis was only sent down to play games this week with the Dogs and if, by Saturday, Huet is judged completely fit to return, Huet will be sent down for conditioning while Danis stays up during that time. But if this is the case, don't see where there is 24 men on the team as Danis and Huet will be alternating between the Dogs and the Habs. I give up:)
It's like that. You're right. Danis will start a couple of games in the AHL. Huet completed his first full practice with the habs on wednesday? Danis will be back with the team on saturday. Huet is healthy? Injured, bla, bla, bla. Michaud is staying with the bulldogs and Halak is actually playing well in the ECHL, after a brutal start coming in relief after the icedogs starter got pulled. Like I said a couple of weeks ago: Danis (the kid) needs (AHL) icetime. Boy oh boy, if he keeps on developing, pwff. Thanks Bob. On top of al this, Théo ordered a coffee on St Catherines today?? Confusing? If you want me to explain all this in dutch, drop me a line.

Nice to know. the last two games Eklund started before he got called up by Tampa, he played very well!
10/22/05: (played 10m24s, 3 saves on 7 shots) 2-8 defeat vs. Providence [pulled and replaced by Coleman]
10/28/05: (played 60', 39 saves on 46 shots) 3-7 defeat vs. Lowell

This is a big game for the habs!..Goin for 5 straight wins...We don't wanna make it 5 straight losses to the Bolts dating back to the playoffs....Tampa Bay is still a strong offensive team for sure but their goaltending isn't as good as it use to be!....Also John Grahame will be getting the night off after stuggling the last 3 games allowing 15 goals...Brian Eklund will be making his first start of his NHL career!
Who's telling the're going with Brian-I'm quick on my skates, slick stickhandling, cocky-Eklund? Pepper that goalie boys!!

Garon!... have to agree w/ you there. I was one of those people claiming that he was going to be a great starter for LA... so much for that. It's still early of course, so you never know, he might snap out of his slump...
Guess Montreal got the best of that trade.
I'm not sure on that, but if Garon doesn't snap out of that ugly streak in a couple of weeks, I'll send a petition to Mr. Gainey to get him back. He's an amazing goalie, perhaps one of the best sound technically right now in the league. He doesn't belong on a bench, maybe on a bench under a palmtree during summer, but not during winter.

it's still early but, heck, ok,
above: chris higgins & olivier michaud. Michaud is the go to guy in hamilton. Look at his backup. Deslauriers is a huge talent. Kovalev. Yeah admit it, you all expected him to get such a big impact on this team early on. Yeah, we all expected that.
below: Sheldon Souray? Give him a break. He doesn't deserve to get booed here. Mathieu Garon.

Ok, tampa's next. I expect this to be a big win for our boys, if we can stay out of the box and shut down the prospal line. John Grahame is so so, the lightnings D is suspect (hello Dan Boyle -7), and last but not least: (montréal its) speed kills! Go Habs Go.

He's so good. Matured o lot during last season in Hamilton. Let us hope we can keep him for a couple of decades. Nice job mr. Savard. Gotta love the komisaurus. Hit 'em high, hit 'em high, hit 'em high, hit 'em low, la la la

Annnnnnnnnnnd another funny...
I just finished watching the highlights on the Canadiens website. The Buffalo announcer is quite humourous.
You can tell that he has a hard time with the names of the less well known players from other teams (ours, at least).
On top of the error with Andrei Markov's name (calling him Danny Markov), when he was announcing the scorers of the other Montreal goals, he was obviously searching his memory or a names list in front of him.
Give it a listen... the replays are at www.canadiens.com , in the article of the game. The icons are at the top of the next page. You'll notice the delay as he fits in words and pauses so as to finally get the name of the Canadiens player. :)
Did you see todays highlights? Mike Ribeiro, the #73 right handed canadiens forward is crossing the blue line.. Same comentator, the same guy. Gotta love him. Sure knows what he's talking about.

Gagne is one of the top 20 forwards in the NHL but Simon Gagné the first 100 goal scorer? Heh, heh. Anybody expecting Eric Staal to get 164 pts at the end of the season? HiHi

If Mr. Gainey wants to bring up the Bulldogs' icegirls, do they have to clear waivers?
