  1. I dont know why so many habs FANS are sad...WE IN ARE IN THE MOTHER F**K PLAY OFFS....ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN...

I KNOW GM HERE WOULD RATHER BE RIGHT ABOUT THE WAY THEY THINK THE TEAM IS...BUT THE TRUTH IS WE ARE IN..WE BEAT OUT ALOT OF TEAM TO GET IN AND AS A HABS FAN I PUMP....

SO ITS TIME TO GET OVER YOUR SELF AND START CHEERING FOR THIS TEAM....THEY BUST THERE BALLS TO MAKE IT IN..

    SHOW A LITTLE PRIDE...

    GO HABS GO....

  2. I think this is win win for us..I been calling for this match up for the last couple of weeks and i really think we got a shot..

If we win that is great we beat the best team in the east..IF we lose no big deal most people said we wouldnt make the playoffs so to lose to the best team in the east then no big trash talk from leafs fans..lol

but really i think washington is the most over rated team in the east..they play in the Southeast div, which is the worst in the east with Atlanta,Carolina,Tampa Bay and Florida....so most of their games are played against non-playoff teams...easyer for the players and team to get pts..

I really think we got a shot..

  3. the goalies are not the problem...its the fans.....As a habs fan iam getting sick and tried of how we are treating price and showing every ufa how we treat the players on the team...it was the same with koivu......Iam not from montreal but what i have come to learn is 90% of fan out side of montreal thinks price is the real deal and just need a couple of years...But every time i watch a game price is being booed...I dont get it...

Every goalie as bad games roberto luongo let in 8 last night and most fans in montreal would love to have him..price let in 2 and the world ends..as a habs fan i feel shame...I become the joke at the office thanks to these boo birds...THEY ARE HURTING THE TEAM AND OTHER FANS IN CANADA..I watch for years how fans cut up koivu and ran other great players out of town and then have to listen to the same fans blame the gm for moving them...

So iam asking habs fan to come together and support the player that wear the :hlogo: ...

  4. Please. Right from the start of the season Laps got the PK taken away from him in favor of Gomez and Gionta. Martin made tons of questionable calls pertaining to his use of such and such player this year. How can anyone explain the 1000 chances D'Agostini got this season despite never showing 1% of an ounce of desire? And Pyatt? Dont make me laugh. Go out in your street, kick down the nearest trashcan you'll see and there'll be a dozen of Pyatts coming out. Guys with zero skill or offensive talent who make it to the NHL because they developed some aptitude at playing anti-hockey and therefore earns the favors of some coach clinging to his antiquated 90's trap system has very little to no respect in my books. I'll take an unpredictable passionate player with upside over a bland run-of-the-mill plumber any day of the week and twice on Sundays. But hey, I'm not the flatlined archaic golem behind the Habs bench, so dont mind me. I'll just be over there counting down days before Guy Boucher finally comes over to give us a modern system and a modern approach to personnel management.

lmfao take it easy man your talking about 2 4th lines guys....i dont really care to be honest as long as we are winning..But thanks for the laught...:lol::lol:

  5.

He went from being trusted by his coach, get PK time and playing with Lats and Kosto; to being thrown in the dogout right from the start, getting no PK time at all and playing with, who? Laraque, MAB and all the other castoffs we had to use with all the injuries. I can deal with Martin not liking Lats, Chips and givings all sorts of chances to Pacioretty, Metropolit, D'Agostini; but the way he's handling Laps is one case where Martin's playing favorites just makes no sense. Especially when considering that Tom Pyatt gets every sort of break imaginable despite having all the upside of a hole in the ground. What's Laps supposed to do to earn Martin's trust, that's what I'm wondering. He cut down the indiscipline, bad penalties and defensive blunders, he's more aggressive in the offensive zone, he goes to the net. What else does Martin wants?

U just dont end of in the dog house for no reason...you cant blame the coach for laps losing his job because his being out work by other players...I dont think martins is playing favorites because he didnt know any of the players and they all start off frensh in his books this year..laps as just been really bad this year..he dont look like he cares...pyatt as look way better most night then laps....Its on laps now to earn his spot with the team..i like him alot but iam not blind to how bad his been this year...

  6. what as happen to Laps .....he as become useless and should be moved in the off season....What happen to all the fan that what him to wear the C  ..

but i really thought he was a usefull player and was going to be our thrid line C for years to come...its sad how bad he as become..i think he needs a new start..

  7. I like Thomas Plekanec but i dont think he is a game changer..his playing good in the last year of a deal and he brings alot to the table but he still miss alot of things i would like to have in a top line C making top $...I thing this comes down to the gm and coach and if they thinks his the man to carry the habs for the next 5 year...

to me he as only play as good as the people around him and watching gomez, cammalleri, and gionta as show him how to work hard every night..The gomez trade as change this team attitude so much and could over been bob best move...

  8. i think Vancouver over paid and this well hurt them long term..i do think Kesler is a better all around player then Plek but i was hoping we sign him for 4 mil a year ..but with dumb gms making moves like this its hard to get a deal..if we going to sign him we got to drop a D man...

  9. So if you were the GM, what would you be willing to pay him, knowing full well that his ceiling may be where he is now, as a 3rd pairing d-man? There's a huge risk in giving this type of player a long term deal (mind you if he pans out, there's a good reward).

its hard to say but right now his playing with Markov as the first pairing most of the time..i think...playing with marko done alot for komi..so if your the coach and gm and you see obyrne playing their for the next couple of season you really might what to get him signed..i see a changing of the guard with markv and pk in a few years..so if you think ob can play along side subban in the future it might be worth locking him up..i would at least talk to his agent..but i would wait till the summer before any talks..

i think we should do a 3 year deal at about.. 1.25 mil, 2 mil, 2.25mil with a cap hit of 1.83...

  10. A guy has a solid two month stretch and now we want him locked up, a year before his contract expires, for five years. Okay now. Good thing Matt D'Agostini didn't get the same treatment a year ago.

Let's see what guys like O'Byrne can do in the post-season, and what he can do when he's guaranteed a spot at training camp.

Whatever the case, the summer of 2011 is shaping up to be like the summer of 2007... 4 free agent d-men at once (Markov, Hamrlik, Gorges, O'Byrne). Not all will be retained... and Markov should be priority #1 yet again.

with the new nhl and the cap gms got to really do there jobs..they got to sign players before they become really good nhlers to get a deal..this is where bob made alot of mistake.he always try to wait last min to sign guys when they were playing great which always made him over pay..i think O'Byrne is just as good as komi and well be better them him in 2 year....O'Byrne as a better shot and a better figther the only thing he dont do great is run around looking for big hits so habs fan could fall in love with him..i know we got good D coming up but i really think locking up a 6,5 right shot that well fight for a couple of more years might be a good idea for the right deal..

  11. Sure, at the right price. With arguably the team's top 3 young d-men (Subban, Weber, Carle) all being RH shots, the organization doesn't have to rush to do so though. He's got one more year left (talks on an extension couldn't even start until July 1), lots could change between now and then.

but ob is 6,5 and a right hand shot and he keeps getting better and better..i dont think he ever be a allstar but with his size he could be a really good long term player for us if we sign him to a 5 year deal now at a cheap rate...i just hope he dont become a another komi..a good but over rate player that some other gm over pays for..his 25 now so in 2 year he become ufa..so i think if we could sign him soon to even a 3 year deal at a cheap rate it might be in our fav..

  12. Here is a Gomez basher, his contract is horrible and something we should never have traded for. BUT he play good at the moment. Not 7.3M/year good but good enough to make me whine more about Hamrlik's contract and Spacek's contract.

And you cant say that Gomez contract is good can you?

gomez contract sucks and so does a alot more guys in the nhl...get use to it..one gm over pays and then every gm as to over pay..pretty much every team got over paid players..why do you guys think the habs would be any different???

I like gomez..his a hard worker and as a winning attitude..i think he makes the team better and to me that more important then the money..i enjoy watch this team so much this year over last year..they on most nights have a never died attitude..last year was sad to watch..so i take gomez over some of the loses of last season..

  13. I always like cheering for the underdog and because every fan jump on the poor kid last season..i kind of watch him more and cheer for him...but i can honestly say he is getting a lot better and well be alot better then komi just going to take time...

  14. I just get frustrated by this archaic school of thought, young players are SUPPOSED to make mistakes, it's the the vets who need a reminder that their spot isn't guaranteed.

lol their a reason for that vet as been around long enough to know when they miss up and not to do it again because if they did they would be vet or still be in the nhl, with the kids they got learn from there mistakes and learn the lesson so they can stay in the nhl and become vet ..its the circle of life....its alot easyer to get to the nhl then to stay in the nhl..

  15. if we win this game i be really happy...but if we dont i wont cry...

I think the gm still what to see want this team can do as he was one of the guys that put it together...

I think price or halak is worth more on draft day...if we are going to move one of them it well be then..

I also think the gm is going to be working hard to more a D man to free up cap and make room for our younger dmen..

Not making a trade is a good move...we get to see how the guys play for the rest of the year if we make the play offs great, if they sh*t to bed then we get a better draft pick and know for sure what chages need to be done to make this a better team and not just guess because of the guys being hurt all year..

I love to make the playoffs because once you are in its a new year but if not we got to look at the up side...we cant sit here and blame young goalies for all our problems all summer..

    GO HABS GO..

  16. Just read the following quote on habs inside out from Pleks agent:

"We talked during the Olympic break and decided to talk again after the NHL trade deadline," Curran said.

Is Gauthier nuts??? Talk AFTER the deadline???? I think i'm going to be sick :puke:

Either Gauthier is going to be dumber then even i thought, or Pleks is gone by Wednesday - either way, I think we are screwed :puke:

OIlers traded Grebeshkov for a 2nd round pick. definitely Grebeshkov>Moore. i'd rather have made that move then the one Gauthier did - followed by moving some of our dead weigh dman.

i think gauthier puts plex name on the trade block and if he gets a deal he likes his gone, if not he try to resign him..

  17. Start a real rebuild, Deal Markov, Hamrlik and Halak away for picks or prospects and resign Price and Plekanec. Move Gomez if possible, make a deal with another team: to the other team: Gomez and 2nd rounder, to Habs: 7th rounder. I might stretch as far as to a 1st rounder because thats how much getting rid of Gomez contract is worth. About trading Markov, its not that I dont like him but he is getting older and by the time we might have a good team again Markov will be over the hill so deal him now while he is an top5 dman in the league and get some real nice young players, prospects and/or draftpicks back for him.

    Im tired, thats all...

to deal Markov would bring back alot right now...its a idea

halak would bring back alot also right now..

    hamrlik might bring some picks...

these moves could make for a fast rebuild but these guys would be hard to replace

  18. i am a BIG FAN of markov because of his skill..but iam not a big fan of him..i dont think he as much leadership and i dont think he should wear the C..If he sat to rest for Team Russia then that just one more reason i dont what him to wear the C...

Markov is a great skill player but i dont know if he as hardcore about wearing the :hlogo: as most of us would like...
