    Just did a quick count... you're allowed 50 players under contract. With yesterday's signings, and the RFA's still unsigned (not including Perezhogin & Benoit who aren't returning this year), we're at 47 contracts. Not much more room for either Montreal or Hamilton. I'm still not sure if Gleed is signed by the Habs or not (I think he's just signed by the Bulldogs, like Baines & Manlow), as well as Desjardins.

    Is Beauregard definitely signed by the Habs? Or just the Bulldogs?

    I think he's signed with the Bulldogs! in Hamilton; need to get confirmation on this...

    ok according to the Gazette article; he signed with the Canadiens to an American League contract. Which puts him securely in Hamilton for next year with an option for the following year.

    Beauregard signed a AHL contract yes, but at anytime, he can sign a NHL contract.

    I can't believe that nobody has suggested Markov?!?! This guy, if he is resigned, will have been on the team for a long time and is probably one of the most important players on the team. Not to mention the fact that he often plays more minutes than any other player on the team, so he would logically be most available to talk to the refs.

    If he want to speak with the refs, he need to undertsand them first. I don't think Markov will ever have a letter on his jersey. I think Komi is the best choice for the A. He's a true leader on the ice and on the bench, I assume he is in the locker room too, you see him talking alot to the ref. I think Higgins will fit perfectly with the A on his jersey when Komi will be our captain.. ;)

    Then, Georges St. Pierre gets knocked out in the first round by Matt Serra.

    I think Lats has been lucky so far, alot of his goals have been earned with a wild spinning shot move or luck. I don't think he is as talented with the puck as Perez. He does use his size well which is great but in shootout Perez has him beat hands down. And lets not forget Perez's ridiculous amount of speed.

    I take Lats before Perezhogin anytime! Perezhogin is so overrated... He had many chance to play on offensive line, he never showed up with good result.

    Bonne chance d'avoire Taveres ... en devrais finir en dernier position la saison prochaine pour lui ... et si on perdre trop de points la saison prochaine le Habitants va demenagee parce que il aurez plus des amateur de hockey en quebec, parce qu'il vont tout mourire d'une crize cartiac, ou ils vonts ce suicidee.

    Mes, si tu trouve une manier pour lui avoir, lance BG uni files d'appelle! J'aimerais lui avoire aussie! :clap:

    Je suis tout à fait ravi si le hockey du samedi soir à radio-canada peut revenir!! J'ai RDS mais.. je comprend que plusieurs personnes n'ont pas le cable. Ça donnera aussi la chance aux gens de l'ouest canadien de pouvoir regarder autre chose que les leafs le samedi soir!
