Hmm... you realize he's talking about Janne Lahti and not about Latendresse right? Because Gui wears 84 already. 98 for Lahti is surprising though, I was expecting something low, like 17.

He said it in an article I saw somewhere shortly after his signing.
It might not be true in all fairness. Lahti and the interviewer were talking bout the jersey numbers with the habs (or lack thereof) and he said 98. I have no idea if he was making a joke out of it or if he wants to wear it..

, thats strange. I liked the number 84. It seemed like a lahti number but 98 is abit random. wonder why he chose 98, and please have no correlation with Wayne Gretzky..... nothing against wayne but i hate when people use numbers like 99 in minor league and stuff, because of wayne and they think they're the next Great one. but thats just my opinion. -
Max Pacioretty went to my high school three years ago (new canaan), he played his freshman year! Then he went to Taft which is a 20 min drive, one of the star players on my team this year is going to taft aswell.
His sister was in my math class this year, she was on tv with him
I knew he was going to be drafted but i didnt think by montreal!!!!
theres another kid from my town- Jack Downing. he is in the draft but isnt going till 3rd or 4th, I played with his brother on the high school team this year. he really sucks

I really like Samsonov, I like how he has managed to make it into the NHL at such a size. He is really fast aswell. But the problem with Sammy is he only tries when he really, really, really... wants something. He had a couple fine moments this season, but its pretty simple; Montreal cant afford under achievers at the moment. We cant take another chance.

Damn i must see Shawshank redemption everybody seems to like it. and it's Dandenault's favorite one too...i prefer Lock Stock and 2 Smockin' barrells over Snatch, have you ever seen it ???
Shawshank Redemtion is an amazing movie, I loved it. very long though. Def see it.

Personally, i thought it was pretty funny as well, it had like one dry spot but i though it was pretty good.
I know Bonk doesn't speak like that.
The reason i put the mad face and said- "its a sad day for hockey" is because i wanted people to think they had actually made a new jersey.

I'm happy that Giguere
finally won a cup. He is young but for the past few years he has been superb but never really winning the cup. In my opinion he is also very underrated. -

Just saw Oceans 13... Thats was a sick movie. In my opinion I thought it was a great movie, it wasnt as good as Oceans 11 though. The actors in the movie were superb and of course there was the classic Oceans theme with great jokes sprinkled through the entire movie. I loved it, I wish i could be as cool as George Clooney

A couple weeks ago my friend forced me and my other friend to go see "Delta Farce" with him. It was the absolute worst movie I had ever seen... And i watch a crap loads of terrible artistic movies in my narrative film class. People were walking out of the theater yelling about how bad it was (in the middle of the movie). Then when larry the cable guy does his usual "get her done", I almost took my drink and threw it at the screen. It was the most annoying face i had ever seen, his face swelled up and his teeth formed buck teeth and he let out the most annoying phrase in film history.
but basically don't go to see this movie, the plot makes no sense at all, most of you probably haven't heard of it.
not to mention it totally ripped of the Full metal jacket cover. and they should fire whoever they hire to make that slogan "war isnt funny, but this movie is", please dont listen to the poster, it was terrible.

Do they know what hockey is in Kansas city? seems like it would be a Nashville type thing where no one would go to there games. and they would have to begin blacking out the stands because their so embarrassed that no one goes to there games.

The new jerseys are only 14% lighter..... These jerseys wont make that big of a difference, peple are getting abit to hyped. At such a high level that small of a diffrence doesnt mean a thing. And even if the jerseys did make a difference wouldnt that also affect everyone else? and make them faster? It would keep Lats on the same level. So yes it was much needed for him to become faster, cant wait to watch him this year!
