I am tired of these non-hockey markets in the US getting teams. The game is Canadian. This country deserves more then 6 teams. This country could support teams in atleast 10 to 12 markets. Time for the NHL to stop trying to sell the game to people who aren't buying. Time to bring the game back to it's roots.

The only bad thing living near TO and being a habs fan is the TMLSE media. The fans are beyond annoying, but you already knew that. However, the media is UNBELIEVABLE. Listen to Leafs Lunch on Mojo640 sometime. It'll make you shake your head. You'd think they were talkin about the Sens, I swear.

Tends tore in his wirst. That is NOT a good thing. That needs rest. The fact he is trying to play threw it proves how desperate the leaf is.
Lindros is a jerk, plain and simple. Heard so many stories about his behaviour throughout his career. I am really tired of him, and can't wait for his to retire. Hockey will be better off without the name "Lindros".

Frankly what moe is saying about Gretzky is true. It's his opinion, I agree with him fully, and so do alot of other people. I do not see why any of us should be critized for our opinions. Facts and examples are given so whats the big deal?

Price played his first inter-squad game tonight. Allowed only 1 goal. While Ellis allowed 5.
That didn't stop habs-hater pierre maguire from ripping price. amazing, the kids lets one in and clearly outplays his opponent yet maguire spins it as price was the weak one. Plus he praises leaf prospect Pogge as the real deal.

A man is in police custody following a seven-hour standoff at an apartment building where a constable was shot and later died after she answered a routine call in a suburb of Montreal.
Sgt. François Doré, a spokesman for the provincial police force, announced the arrest at about 7 p.m. EST Wednesday but didn't immediately release any other information about the man.
Const. Valerie Gignac, 25, was shot shortly after reaching the scene of a noisy quarrel at the apartment in the northern district of Laval des Rapides in the late morning.
The bullet reportedly went right through the apartment door and her bulletproof vest.
Gignac, who suffered stomach wounds, was rushed to Montreal's Sacred Heart Hospital in critical condition, but later died.
"She's very young, too young, to be in such a moment," Laval police director Jean Pierre Gariépy said in announcing her death earlier in the day.
"It's very difficult for every police officer to have to deal with her death."
Gariépy, said Gignac's boyfriend was also a police officer in Laval, but gave few other details about the shooting.

It's thread five zillion praising an ex-habs and how we shoulda apprently kept him yet if we did these same people would be complaining the most about them. How ironic.

So the argument here is, use anything that makes Italy look good no matter how obslete or lame of a point it is. You have no argument that proves Italy can win the tournament, so you resort to brining up pointless stats and a jaded opinion in a weak attempt to convince someone who won't be convinced that Italy is a world class team.
Even if I were a Brazil fan, you'd find some weak stat that proves, in your mind, that Italy is the best!@

Wow, I so called this in the Phoenix game thread. While it's not a player, it's thread 8758435 of someone slagging the Habs for something they did. These people play NHL on there Playstation that is automatically makes them a hockey genius.

5. habs-hater Maguire and the rest of the TMLSN staff will praise The Great Ego every chance they get

8. Higgins will work his ass off and not get a point
9. Theodore will be the #1 star, shoving it right in The Great Ego's face and proving that he should be on the Canadian Olympic team

Maguire is NOT a habs fan. Just cuz he was raised in Montreal doesn't automatically make him so. He hates the Habs. Listen to him tonight, he'll slag the Canadiens and praise the Great Ego every chance he gets.

My favourite part about this game is that they're aren't any ex-Habs on the Phoenix Winnipeg Jets. That way, if Phoenix wins, there won't be a thread on saying "We should have kept so and so"...

TMLSN has Habs ranked 22nd, while the elfs who have less points and haveplayed in more games, are 16th.

Price was in net for last years silver medal win in the U-18's. What expierence does Pogge have? Price held his own and his stock went up in the draft cuz of it. Intl hockey is a different game all together. Throwing an unexperienced goalie in will hurt Canada.
Price is the better goalie. I've seen them both play several times. Hands down Carey should be the #1. Sutter must see Price alot and knows, despite the fact he's on a weak team, he is a better goalie.
The kid is 18 for christ sakes. He wants nothing more to play for his country in a huge intl tournament. He doesn't need such jerk-ass like maguire ripping him every chance he gets.
