  1. Sens proved against in Game 5 they're choked artists. They had the Leafs by the balls and what did they do? Let them right back in the series. The Sens could of all but ended the series last night. Going home, I think they would have finally been able to beat TOronto. Instead they give on of their worst peformances of the season.

So what is the Hens problem? I think they're poorly coached and have too many European forwards. They don't have a big physical forward who can play as a top 6 forward on the team. They need that. They have some talent like Hossa, Spezza, Chara, Redden and lets be honest Lalime has done very well in the series, it's not his fault his team cannot score of sh!t. It's not Belfour. Belfour has proven in this series he is suffering from a bad back.

Its obvious to anyone who watchs the Leafs can be easily beatin, Philly proved that last year. So what do the Sens do? Ignore it and try and play a run and gun game. Result? down 3-2.

I do think the Sens will push it to Game 7 but lose that too... It won't be the defense or goaltendings fault, it's the poor coaching and the lack of intense forwards that will cost them another season.

  2. I think alot of it his hatred for the Montreal Canadiens and French Canadians. I got that impression during that whole Don Cherry thing. The racism came out in people who basically said "If the French are upset, tough sh!t". Their is obviously alot of hatred for French Canadians in Canada. It has always been there. Thank god I was brought up to respect my fellow Canadians.

Lets look back on this hole incident

-Ribeiro fakes an injure to get a whistle in a one goal game. Gets ripped, most of all by the Toronto media. Irony about that statement is a Leaf does it every game. Tucker spends more time facedown on the ice than the puck. Nobody says boo about that. Nobody said boo about it when Paul Coffey did it in the 95 finals, nobody said boo about it. So why all of a sudden is it such a big deal? Simple, it's a hatred and jealousy of the Montreal Canadiens, mostly from Leaf fans. Most grew up so jealous of the sucess of the Habs that any little thing negative about them, they'll blow up.

-A small minority of Canadian fans boo the US anthem. Well first off this is a free country, and while I do not agree with it, people do have the right to show their displeasure. When this happened a few years ago, both Montreal and vancouver did it, along with several American cities. Where did the spotlight go? Montreal. Again, it comes from a deep hated and jealousy for the Canadiens. Don Cherry and co never said boo when Detroit or Long Island or Atlanta booed our anthem. Nope, but when a few idiots from Montreal boo an American national anthem it's the end of the world. Again, nothing but racism.

-Kovalev, who 10 years ago dove, gets slashed on the arm which ends up costing the Habs the winning goal. Automatically from the habs hating media, Kovalev is called a diver and a faker. Well frankly nobody but Kovalev knows if he was trutly hurt. He might have been, we don't know. You cannot call him a faker. Nobody knows. The guy missed practice the next day and the medical staff did say it was effecting him, so maybe just maybe Kovalev was telling the truth? You wouldn't know that if you listened to the Montreal hating media. It was blown up. I think they just like showing the replay of the Habs losing. Of course lets say for a minute Kovalev was faking to draw a penalty, that happens dozens of times in every game for every team in all sports. So why is one little incident in a playoff game being so blown out of preportion? Again, a hatred for the Habs and French Canadians.

This Ribeiro thing gave the habs hating and the French Canadian hating twits across North America fuel to degrat the greatest franchise in hockey history. Most of their critisim is hypocritical and based on no facts since it happenes all the times in all sports.

Thats my opinion on it. It's nothing but a hatred for French Canadians and a jealousy of the great Montreal Canadiens organzation.

  3. Saw TSN... Made me sick

Markov gets punched in the face and it's a dive? C'mon... It was obvious to anyone who saw it that it hurt like a bitch.

TSN is usually pretty good. I like a few of their guys. Gord Miller calls it how it is, McKenzie is right on 95 out of 100 times, and Gino Reda is pretty good.

And the fact (excuse me for saying this ladies) but a women said it pissed me off. You know she's never played a game and knows nothing about how rough the game is.

  4. A few Canadian fans did it. It wasn't the whole crowd. I heard people cheering. So atleast they tried, unlike in Long Island and Detroit where the whole place booed our anthem and no one said boo about it, but once a Canadian city (espically Montreal) does it, it's the end of the universe.

Montrealers will cheer the US anthem tomorrow, and it will get no press. The French haters can only bash the great people of Montreal when they do something wrong.

Glad to see knowledgable fans at the forum. As we all know, it's easiest to blame the goaltender.

The team has a lot bigger problems than Theo and as already mentioned, he's our best player.

I can't believe someone would actually suggest to put in an inexperienced Garon in net in place of our best player in a Do or Die match.

I don't get it either. It's so easy to blame Theodore for everything, but it's not his fault. People become so forgetful around this time of year. During the season it was "Theodore for Vezina" "Theodore for Hart"... Now the guy who took us to one of the best seasons in the last 10 years is being ripped and for what? The team cannot score. Thats not Theodore fault. He has kept us in this series in clutch moments. If the offense got it's act together, things would look alot different.

The unfair flack Theo is getting reminds me of the crap Cujo put up with last year. He played so well in the series against Anaheim, too bad his opponent gave one of the greatest goaltending performances in hockey history. A performance that happenes maybe once every 15-20 years. 9 out of 10 series, his play would have been good enough to advance his team to the next round. Same with Theodore.

  6. Did you hear what he said about the Habs?

    "Habs can't compete with us"

What a fool. I used to respect the guy, but now I hope the Habs come back just so I can see the look on his face.

With the Habs outplaying the Bruins for a majority of the series, it's safe to say the Habs can compete with the Bruins.

Hope the Habs are aware of this, cause that would be motivation for me if I am a Canadiens player. If I were CJ I'd make sure our D leans on Rolston. Push him around and crush him anytime he touchs the puck. Use it as motivation to send these clowns to the golf course.
