Leaf fans and the Leafarazzi are making Berehowsky out to be the 2nd coming of Bobby Orr...
He's in his early 30's and this is his 8th team... They got him straight up for Ric Jackman... Enuff said...

York was a good trade, but thats only one trade.
Dvorak and Isbister, who were their two keys to those trades, are busts.
I am sure, very sure, that Lowe could have gotten alot more for Niinamaa and Carter than those two and Cory Cross (who will not be confused with Bobby Orr anytime soon).

This is what happenes when you stick teams in Florida... Bad bad bad bad ice... This is one of the big reasons why hockey should not be in Florida or any other souther states... They don't know how to make ice for the life of them...

The NHL is taking a step in the right direction with these proposed changes.
Although, 3 points for a win? I don't like that one...

Montreal is trading from a position of strength. The Oilers are trading from a position of weakness.
When is the last really good trade you've seen the Oilers make? Lowe is very overrated.
Dvorak for Carter? Bad trade
Niinamaa for Isbister? Bad trade
Comrie for Woywitka? They desperatly needed his offense
The Oates signing has been TERRIBLE
Lowe doesn't seem to be the sharpest pencil in the box. I think we could pick his pocket with this one.

As far as talent goes
Bobby Orr was the greatest defenseman ever
and Mario Lemieux was the greatest forward ever
Forsberg is prolly the best Swedish born hockey player ever. Tumba Johansson, Salming, Hedberg, Kent Nilsson and Nicklas Lidstrom would be right up there too...

Here is the master list, 26 players have to be on the roster, including three under 23
Bertuzzi, Thornton, Sakic, Heatley, Iginla, Kariya, Tanguay, Nash, Spezza, Doan, St. Louis, Madden, Peca, Marleau, and Lemieux
Pronger, Blake, Niedermayer, Foote, Redden, Aucoin and Bouwmeester
Theodore, Brodeur and Luongo
Put those 26 players out there and Canada will win no problem. Buttman will not have a chance to rig it again...

Hossa has been playing like crap this year. He is way too inconsistant, and whatever scout said he'll be a better overall player than Marian, needs to be fired.
Hossa being traded would be a good idea.
