Gomez will add excellent playmaking to our PP, with limited icetime his poor endurance shouldn't be an issue, a 2nd is well worth the swap, throw in Leclerc yeah happy with this thx Raymond!

Belle is a carreer minor leaguer. Who cares what he did 5 years ago, there is a reason he has never stuck with a team or played many NHL games.
Maybe so but he was a first-round pick and has some good experience and his +19 was second-best on the Dogs' D last season -- glad to see him get a chance he may surprise us, we could use a pleasant surprise no?

Gordon in the G&M calls this "a perplexing move". I admit I was expecting Beregeron to be called up, but I really hope Belle can do well and start to show some of the talent that got him drafted in the first round.
i have always had a good feeling about Belle, we'll see. Remember he was part of that tremendous Canadian World Junior team?

How does one develop mental toughness other than through experience? As he plays and gets older, he'll become more consistent. If you bring a 20 year old goalie into the league, this is what you have to deal with.
true, no fear, Price will get the stuff just about the time he becomes eligible for free agency and bolts to the leaf. oops showing my pessimism again . .. .. . .
But seriously, as he came up so early and this is his third season in the nhl, Price could become a UFA in just four years no?

Gainey gave us a dream, now we just have a team. Some fans feel ripped off waiting five years. He'll go but not now, end of the season, that is, unless we get deep in the playoffs which i hope we do!

How the hell do the Oil have the best winning % in the league with all these injuries and suspensions and scant attention to lines .. . . .??? WTF you'd be inclined to conclude there was a good GM at the helm which poll after poll has indicated is not the case . . . . .
Anyway we need to trade to live, so step up also-ran GMs of any stripe we will listen to all offers for all players, partial to getting a PF in return.....WiB
